Gear Specialist Maya received a higher-detailed style in Update v30.20, which replaced the original one. Since Update v28.20, players have had the option to choose between both.
NOTE: Unlike other Base LEGO Styles, Gear Specialist Maya's Base LEGO Style is currently unusable, as her Edit Menu is oddly greyed out despite having a low-detail style before Update 30.20. You can still access her Base style if you use Locker bugs to access her Edit Menu. However, it is automatically reverted after exiting.
Bean Style
Within Fall Guys experiences, Gear Specialist Maya's appearance is changed to that of a matching Fall Guys Bean.
Trivia[]
- Gear Specialist Maya was the first Forged cosmetic.
- Technically, She's the only forged cosmetic, as the Brella is oddly not marked as Forged, despite both of them having the same mechanics.
- Gear Specialist Maya is the only Outfit from the Chapter 2: Season 2 Battle Pass to not have a Remix.
- The Skratch Company outfits may be based off Maya, as they reuse the Arctic, Jungle, and Urban Camos. However, none of the Outfits in that set shares their character model with Maya.
- Excluding scarf colors, there are a total of 9,216,000 unique combinations players could make out of her style options.
- Including scarf colors, there are a total of 16,588,804,608,000 unique combinations.
- Gear Specialist Maya is normally completely unable to be customized after Chapter 2: Season 2.
- When "Randomize Loadout" was added to the Locker, If you randomized your loadout and got Maya as the selected outfit, the styles would randomize between Default or the style you chose. This was later fixed, and any affected players would have their Maya fixed to how they customized her. If you made a Preset while your styles were different, You were able to keep that combination when you used that preset. These presets were usable until Update v28.00.
- If players wore Maya before Update v28.00, all of her styles would be reset to default once you load into the new update. This is fixed when you unequip her.
- Using bugs in the Locker that display incorrect Edit Menus or options, It's possible to access her edit menu and options.
- In Update v28.00, if you chose any of the default styles, your changes persisted after leaving the menu. However, after Update v28.01, it no longer saves when exiting.
- After Update v28.20, her Edit Menu was unlocked, and she was able be customized in the Locker. However, it still reset when exiting her edit menu.
- Her edit menu was greyed out once again in Update v29.20.
- In her LEGO Style, her combat knife is replaced by a Llama.
