Activation[]
During a match, after the first Storm circle has formed and before its resizing period is over, a Godzilla Portal would spawn in one of seven predetermined spots across the Island, along with three Monarch Supply Drops in the area. Once it spawned, the Portal's location would be marked and highlighted on the map, followed by two warnings: "GODZILLA PORTAL IS OPEN!" and "RUSH TO GODZILLA PORTAL". The first player to enter the portal would become Godzilla, receiving a significant increase in Health and unique abilities.
In some cases, Kong would briefly emerge from a Rift as soon as players entered the Battle Bus, along with five Monarch Supply Drops that appear from smaller rifts in the area around him before he quickly jumps back into the Rift. He had a 25% chance of spawning and would only appear if a Godzilla Portal is guaranteed to spawn in the same match.
While Godzilla is alive, a large glowing icon will mark his location on the map, and Monarch Supply Drops will spawn near him every 50 seconds.
As Godzilla[]
When a player enters the Godzilla Portal, they would transform into Godzilla and descend from the sky through a Rift. As Godzilla, their loadout prior to transforming would be replaced by three new main abilities, which they could use to fend off other players:
- Mighty Stomp Attack
- Stomps the ground, dealing up to 120 damage and launching players in the vicinity.
Godzilla would also damage any players that get caught in his path, dealing up to 120 damage if trampled on.
During the player's time as Godzilla, their Health would slowly deplete until fully drained, with the amount of depletion increasing after a significant period of time has passed. This was a measure to ensure that the player transformed into him doesn't remain transformed for too long.
Once Godzilla was defeated, he would fire one final atomic heat ray into the sky to charge a Rift, taking him away from the Island. The player who had transformed into him would be rifted back into the sky with full Health, no Shields, and all the items they had gathered before transforming.
As Players[]
Players in the vicinity were tasked with defeating the player controlling Godzilla. Hitting his neck weak point, as well as the glowing dorsal plates on his back and arms, dealt critical damage, briefly staggering Godzilla upon taking enough damage. Once a dorsal plate was broken or his weak point took enough damage, an amount of Godzilla's Fragments would drop for the player who performed the action. Consuming a Fragment granted the player 3 Zero Point Dashes, along with some amount of Effective Health.
Once Godzilla's Health was fully depleted, meaning he has been repelled, the player who dealt the most damage to him would earn the Godzilla Medallion, as well as a Burst Quad Launcher.

Trivia[]
- Godzilla's codename is SourFork.
- Godzilla's model has proportions much closer to his original design, unlike the Godzilla Evolved Outfit that is modified to fit the player skeleton.
- Godzilla is the first Player Boss to have combat music play for when he's active.
- Similar to Doctor Doom, Godzilla's size is Colossal compared to all other entities in Battle Royale.
- Though unlike Doctor Doom, Godzilla uses a unique model that is not an Outfit under the four player model types.
- Godzilla's Portal is spawned in by a developer item called Kaiju Rift Gate.
- It used the Junk Rift as an icon and Its ID is ID_SourFork_SpawnPortal.
- Godzilla's appearance in the Chapter 6: Season 1 Gameplay Trailer has him reuse a roar from the Storm King rather than using his iconic roar. This was confirmed to be a mistake and did not persist to his final inclusion.
- Despite this, Godzilla also reuses the sound effects that play for when the Storm King's weakspots are damaged.
- Though extremely difficult with the slow health drain and easy methods of draining his health, it is possible to get a Victory Royale as Godzilla. However there is no unique display for doing so unlike with Doom's Chosen.
