Gorgers are AIs in Fortnite: Battle Royale. They were introduced with the v14.10 Update (Chapter 2: Season 4). These drones work for Galactus and spawn from the sky near the start of a match. You can see them spawn in a bright beam of red light.

With regular weapons they can only be damaged by shooting at yellow glowing spots in the eye, when the blaster is charging up, or on the sides when Gatherers are being released.

Gatherers will follow players and shoot small lasers at them. Upon defeat they will explode but can be picked up and used as a temporary weapon. This weapon is dropped if the player switches to another weapon or builds. Upon dropping it, it will continue it's cycle of exploding.

When used as a weapon Gatherers deal damage to the Gorgers no matter where they are shot.

If a Gorger gets caught in the storm it will slowly charge up before shooting back into the sky in the same way it arrives.

The Gorgers played a small part in The Devourer of Worlds event, where players had to shoot them down in the upgraded Battle Buses.

Gorgers were removed from the game in Chapter 2: Season 5
