The road too mundane for you? The train too predetermined? Go off-roading with the Grandeur Trailsmasher SUV and explore the Island your way!
Update v28.00 Patch Notes

The Grandeur Trailsmasher is a vehicle in Fortnite: Battle Royale. It was added in Chapter 5: Season 1.

Description[]

The Trailsmasher is a four-wheeled luxurious dark SUV used by The Society for all kinds of purposes, including military operations. The Trailsmasher, as suggested by its name, is suited for bursting through obstacles thanks to its high mass and visible spur on the model, and can handle all types of terrain fairly well.

The Trailsmasher seats four players, one driver and three passengers. The driver has full control of the vehicle and is able to move forward, reverse, steer, drift, navigate Radio Stations and honk, while the passengers can fire their own weapons through their respective window after breaking it. The vehicle also has a windshield and a rear glass; all glass panels offer sheer additional protection to the crew, but are easily destructible, thus exposing the players inside upon breaking. Every tire can be individually popped, hindering steering and overall control for the driver as well as forcing the Trailsmasher to take damage over time as it travels (roughly -1HP every 0,5s per popped tire). Tires and windows can be restored with Chrome, Chonkers or Repair Torches.

The Trailsmasher has a significant rectilinear top speed of 60km/h, only 10km/h less than a Whiplash's. Such speed can only be achieved on asphalt, railtracks or other appropriate surfaces, as the SUV performs better on road. Though, it still sports above average off-road capabilities compared to other cars, overall combining the rapidity of the Prevalent with the adaptability and resistence of the OG Bear. It also features a not to underestimate drifting that is angularly similar to the OG Bear's, but considerably faster.

The Trailsmasher has a robust health bar of 1,050HP (more than an OG Bear but less than a Mudflap). Once it reaches the null value, the vehicle will enter the vehicle death state and then explode, starting a fire and leaving behind a wreckage prop bound to disappear within 20 seconds.

Like other vehicles of the cars category, it can be modded with Vehicle Mod: Off-Road Tires and Vehicle Mod: Cow Catcher and has access to Radio Stations. It needs fuel to run, with standard consumption.
