The Grappler Bow is an Exotic Bow in Fortnite: Battle Royale, that was introduced in Chapter 2: Season 6.

Functionality[]

The Grappler Bow works different to other bows, in that its priority is for traversal, rather than damage. When used, the player will be pulled towards the location the arrow lands. As such, the Grappler bow has a much lower range than other bows. Players will not take fall damage after grappling.

The Grappler Bow uses a Fast Moving Projectile. It has a targeting system which shows the player the drop of the projectile, and where it will land. There is no damage falloff on the Grappler Bow's projectiles.

The Grappler Bow can be very useful for closing the gap between yourself and an opponent in an engagement, as you can fire at the opponent, deal a large amount of damage, grapple towards them, and switch to a fast firing SMG or a Shotgun to finish the job.
The Grappler Bow is also very useful for general mobility, due to its use being able to be replenished with Arrows.

Counters[]

The Grappler Bow has a much shorter range than normal Bows due to its priority being mobility, so keeping at long range during an engagement against an opponent wielding one is very beneficial.
