The Grefg's Floor is Lava was a tournament that gave players the chance to earn TheGrefg Outfit, the Balls of Power Back Bling, the Staff of Control Pickaxe, and the Controller Crew Emote for free. There was 2 sessions for 2 playlists - Squads and Solo - taking place on January 14th and 15th 2021 respectively. The rewards for placing in the allocated ranks (different per region) for winning prizes are different per session. Only 12 matches can be played during the tournament. Upon playing 12 in the playlist disables it for you.

Gameplay[]
Similarly to the Floor is Lava Limited Time Mode, lava rose from the ground. The only Weapons that were available were Harpoon Guns, Mythic Goldfishes, and Explosive Weapons. When equipping their Pickaxe, players could walk and run faster to avoid the lava like in the Lachlan's Pickaxe Frenzy Tournament. When a player eliminated another player, they would siphon their Health and Shield. Players would receive Materials over time until they reached the limit of Materials which was 500 per each Material.

- When a player obtained a Mythic Goldfish their Outfit, Back Bling, and Pickaxe changed into TheGrefg Outfit, the Balls of Power Back Bling, and the Staff of Control Harvesting Tool, however they would not receive these cosmetics unless they placed in the allocated ranks for winning them per session or purchased them in the Item Shop.
