The Hammerhead Choppa is a Vehicle in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was introduced in Chapter 6: Season 4.
Functionality[]
The Hammerhead Choppa is a air vehicle with no built in weaponry. It can move upwards and downwards vertically and move in any horizontal direction at a constant speed. It has a total of 5 seats, one for the pilot and four for passengers. If the pilot switches seats without leaving the vehicle, the Hammerhead Choppa will hover in the air for a few more seconds before starting its descent.
Hammerhead Choppa has a boost functionality, which provides a small burst of horizontal speed in any direction, at the cost of burning additional fuel. This boosts is based on a meter, meaning that it will last longer if the player holds the boost keybind. Using this boost, the driver can ram into players and structures, dealing minimal damage to the vehicle.
When the Hammerhead Choppa's hitpoints reach zero, it will falls towards the ground, sounds a siren and explodes, ejecting players inside. Players will be given glider redeploy when existing from the Hammerhead Choppa at a high enough elevation.
Stats[]
On destruction, the Hammerhead Choppa will deal 70 player damage and 450 structure damage with its explosion.
