This article is about a location that has been removed from the map.Herald's Sanctum was a Named Location added to Fortnite: Battle Royale in Chapter 3: Season 4. It is the result of the Chrome consuming the Sanctuary and was home to The Herald.
Overview[]
Herald’s Sanctum was an altered version of Sanctuary, with some buildings still there, although covered in Chrome. In the middle is a castle of Chrome, made up of Chrome hexagonal prism pillars. The Herald resides in the bottom floor, and while passive will be looking at a Chrome orb over a pool/pond of Chrome. The orb shows the current Reality Tree. Just next to the castle is a Chrome tornado, which is surrounded by a few chests on the ground just out of reach of the skydive zone. Through coming in contact with the Chrome tornado, you will be turned to Chrome, similar to the Chrome Splashes’ function.

Chapter 3: Season 4[]
- Update v22.00: Sanctuary has been consumed by the Chrome and turned into Herald's Sanctum.
- Fracture: Herald's Sanctum has been destroyed by The Herald along with Artemis and Apollo.

- Its codename is 'Athena_Location_POI_HeraldFortress'.
- There are some secret rooms inside Herald’s Sanctum, which you can enter by phasing through the wall as it is Chrome.
