Hero Loadouts are a feature in Fortnite: Save the World. In a Hero Loadout, you can select different Heroes to aid you in Battle. There are 5 Hero Loadout Slots, each that can be obtained by progressing through the Stand and Fight Campaign. There are 4 Hero Loadout Slots unlocked by completing all four Storm Shield Defenses. One additional Hero Loadout Slot is available for each Ventures season completion.
Commander[]
The Commander is the hero that you play with. Their appearance can be changed via the Locker. The Commander you select determines your base health and shield. Your abilites and perks also depend on the commander you select as well. Heroes slotted in this slot use the Commander Perk, which is a stronger variant of their Standard Perk. The class of your commander will determine their Class Perks.
Support Team[]
Your Support Team are the heroes that assist you in battle. They grant 8% percent of their health and shield (which contributes to the entire HP of the loadout) and their Standard Perk. The standard perk is the perk used when a Hero is slotted in the support team. There are 5 Support Slots to choose from.
Team Perks[]
The Team Perk is a perk that you can slot. These perks can change the way you can fight in missions. Each Team Perk has a specific requirement to activate it. Mythic Heroes are the heroes that will grant you Team Perks (apart from Blast From The Past, which can be unlocked by obtaining a Dinosaur Hero).
