The Hunter's Cloak is an Uncategorized Item in Fortnite: Battle Royale. It was added in Chapter 2: Season 6.

Functionality[]

The Hunter's Cloak can be used to stop Animal AIs detecting your movement, allowing you to tame them. If you attack whilst it is equipped, it will deactivate.

Stats[]

The Hunter's Cloak has a 3 second use time and a 10 second cooldown after each use.

The Hunter's Cloak can only be obtained by crafting. This is done with 4 pieces of Meat.

The Hunter's Cloak masks your scent, which can be used to hunt and blend in with wild animals. It makes normally hostile animals peaceful, unless attacked.
- This allows you to kill Frogs and grab Chickens more easily because they will not run away.
- This also allows a player to get close to hostile animals like Boars and Wolves.
Wolves and Boars can be tamed much easier than normal, as you will not need any Meat or Foraged Items, and they will not act hostile towards you.

Update v16.00: Added the Hunter's Cloak as an Uncommon Craftable Item. It can be crafted from Animal Bones and Meat.

Trivia[]

Spire Assassin would not attack you if you had this equipped when encountering her. However, if you equipped it mid-fight, she would remain hostile.
It will appear on your back like a Back Bling when used.
