Husks are the most common type of Monsters in Save the World.

Characteristics

Husk Monsters are similar to zombies from other horror media. Their body is slightly decayed with green skin and their backbone exposed. The hair and skin in the head has been ripped, exposing their skull, the ripped skin takes the form of a "hoodie". Their eyes glow orange.

Husks are formed from a corpse of humans killed by The Storm or by other Monsters, reanimated into an undead being by The Storm. Ray describes the Husks' body when the ATLAS is being attacked as "cold, (un)dead", confirming that Husks are once living humans.

Their usual behavior is attacking humans or Wildlife when there are no objectives. When an objective is placed, Husks will try to destroy them and the defenses surrounding it. Husks has some form of intelligence in that they can find weak points of a fort and exploit them, such as breaking a stone wall when the rest of the fort is metal or finding an opening. When Husks touches a mission objective, they are instantly eliminated but the objective takes damage.

When Husks are eliminated, their body disintegrates.

Husks are found in many ways:

• Spawned around the map, sleeping
• Randomly spawning Storms or Storm patrols.
• Husk Encampments
• Rescuing a Survivor (RV roof, Car roof, or on foot Survivors)
• Opening a Storm Chest
• Spawned during objective defense.
• Spawned by the Flinger Mist Monster
• Spawned by the Storm King
• During Storm Shield Defenses
• Dungeons, Survive the Horde, Hit the Road, and Frostnite events

Riot Husky	Demolition	Same as a Husky, but holds an indestructible fridge door as a shield with two arms while peeking through a tiny horizontal window on the top of the door. Slower than the Husky, and deals high amounts of damage to players and structures. Can be elemental.	Stonewood
Bombshell Lobber	Demolition	"Time to build a roof!" Ranged enemy that throws purple skulls that deal damage to players and structures on impact from a long distance. They will not spawn if all players on the team have completed the Magnets! Quest.
Pumpkin Head Husk	Hexsylvania	Objective	Husks that wear a pumpkin on their heads, only appearing during the Hexsylvania Venture Season.
Torch Thrower	Hexsylvania Dungeons	Assassin	Pitchers that are dressed up as an 1800s villager, only appearing during the Hexsylvania Venture Season and Dungeons. Throws a torch at players instead of bones. Cannot be elemental.
Elf Husk	Frozen Fjords	Assassin	Husklings dressed as elves, only appearing during the Frozen Fjords Venture Season.

Love Lobber	Mild Meadows	Assassin	These Lobbers are similar to Beehive Lobbers, and throw pink potions instead of beehives. When coming in contact with an object or player, the potions explode and cause a pink AOE cloud that damages players inside of it. They only appear while the No Dancing Questline is active.
Santa Sploder	Frozen Fjords	Demolition	These Sploders are dressed as Santa Claus, with their propane tank being replaced by a present. They only appear during the Frozen Fjords Venture Season.
Birthday Sploder	Birthday Anniversary	Demolition	These Sploders only appear during the Fortnite Birthday Celebration Event. They carry giant, explosive birthday cakes instead of propane tanks.
