IO Scanner Consoles are a Device in Fortnite: Battle Royale. They were introduced in Chapter 3: Season 1.
Functionality[]
When interacted with, the IO Scanner Consoles will scan a significant portion of surrounding area for any Containers, Wildlife, and Opponents.

Chapter 3: Season 1[]
- Update v19.10: Added a IO Scanner Console to Mole Team: Omega, Mole Team: Ryder and Mole Team: Dash Landmarks.
- Update v19.20: Added a IO Scanner Console to Mole Team: Epsilon and Mole Team: Raven
Chapter 3: Season 2[]
- Update v20.00: Removed the IO Scanner Consoles at all Mole Team locations, as the locations have been removed.
- Added an IO Scanner Console to Command Cavern.

- Update v21.00: Removed all IO Scanner Consoles on the island.
Trivia[]
- The IO Scanner Console at Command Cavern scans the entire location, revealing over 200 containers to the player including the entire underground base, the area on top of the mountain, and the IO Airship stationed above.
