Impossible Rock

Impossible Rock is a Landmark in Fortnite: Battle Royale added in Chapter 3: Season 1 to the island Artemis. It is a large boulder precariously balanced upon a cliff face, in a way seemingly impossible for it to exist - hence its name. The Landmark can be found between Rocky Reels, Condo Canyon and Chonker's Speedway.

Update v19.00:
- Impossible Rock was added, fully covered with snow.
Content Update v19.01 - 2:
- January 16th 2022: The snow fully melted around Impossible Rock.

Update v20.00:
- A light blue container was added to the top of the rock.
Update v20.10:
- A red, second container was added next the first.
Update v20.20:
- A yellow, third container was added on top of the second container.
Update v20.30:
- A blue, fourth container was added on on top of the third container forming the Ukraine flag, in support of the war torn country.
- May 5th: Another yellow, fifth container was added vertically on top of the blue - though it was added early by accident, and interacting with it, and a nearby tire pile results in odd clipping and glitching for players.
Update v20.40:
- A pink, sixth container was added on horizontally on top of the fifth container.

Fracture: Impossible Rock, like the rest of Artemis, was destroyed by The Herald.

It is an upside down rock, balancing on top of a mountain in the desert, hence its name.
It has a large zipline coming from the top of it which leads down to a small house on the rock nearby.
It used to only have 1 chest; on the top of the rock, on a toilet seat
- Though with more containers being added, the number of chests is slowly rising
