Island Templates in Fortnite: Creative are pre-made templates that serve as the foundation for players to build their own experiences. These templates offer a wide selection of biomes and landscapes to choose from, giving creators a head start with themed environments. They were introduced in Season 7 alongside the launch of Creative mode, and new Island templates are added infrequently.
Some templates are designed as tutorials that either assist creators in designing their own experiences or demonstrate new features. These are known as Feature Examples and are great for learning advanced techniques or finding inspiration for your own creations.
There’s also a special category called Brand Templates. These sometimes include gameplay modifications—such as transforming your character into a LEGO figure or a Fall Guys bean—and often feature third-party IPs like TMNT.
