Islands are a template and save slot in Fortnite: Creative that allows the player to create a starting base for their creation. Players can choose from a variety of different biomes and landscapes. They were added in Season 7 alongside Fortnite: Creative. There are a wide range of islands to choose from, and more Islands get added to the game each season.
Some islands have tutorials to go with them, providing more details and information about the template construction and how the Island experience was put together. You can use these tutorials with the Island templates for a more in-depth view, or as a guide to creating your own island experience. These are known as "Template Islands" and are displayed separately to Basic Islands in this article.
