The Jewel is an Uncategorized Item in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was added in Season 5.
Functionality[]
The Jewel by itself has no default use but it is functions similarly to a Keycard, as it gives your team access to a Getaway Van.
Carrying a Jewel will give players health & shields over time, but also slow them down by 10%.
When a Jewel is picked up, it will be visible on the map to everyone for 30 seconds.

Functionality[]
The item by itself has no default use but can be used in Devices such as a Capture Item Spawner or Conditional Button to make your own custom modes in Creative.
Only one Jewel can be carried per player.
