The Jump Pad is a Rare Trap in Fortnite: Battle Royale, that was introduced in the Pre-Season.

Functionality[]

The Jump Pad comes in two versions, each being separate items. The orange color one with the outwards arrows launches players horizontally, whereas the blue color one with in the inwards arrows launches them vertically. Both negate all fall damage.

The Jump Pad only takes up one quarter of a tile and can only be placed on a floor tile.

Obtained[]

The Jump Pad can be obtained from a variety of places. They are found as floor loot, in chests, and in Supply Drops. They drop in stacks of 1 and stack infinitely.

  • The Jump Pad can be used to quickly gain horizontal or vertical speed and distance. This can be useful for escaping The Storm, or other uses for high speeds, such as getting the drop on an unsuspecting opponent.

Trivia[]

  • The Jump Pad was replaced by the Launch Pad. Later, a similar item (Bouncers) would be added.
  • Although both Jump Pads were replaced a long time ago by the Bouncer, they are still present in the files to this day.
    • Both Jump Pads have a different ID compared to the Save the World versions.
