Jade has gone missing, and Daigo refuses to talk about it. I need to know why.
Jade and Daigo are both brilliant and reckless and... bad influences on one another.
Before she vanished, Jade was investigating the influx of demons coming from the Spirit Realm.
Daigo has been experimenting with dark magic. If he's endangered Jade, I'll never forgive him.

Jade's recklessness and Daigo's arrogance may be why Jade is trapped in the Spirit Realm.
The thing is, only demons can cross into the Spirit Realm. So, how did this happen?
We need to understand more about this magic... and more about the demons.

Kendo is a masterless samurai seeking great purpose. He is the younger brother of Daigo, older brother of Jade, and a descendant of the family which served as the main cause of the Shattering War in Oninoshima.
He is the main protagonist of Chapter 6: Season 1.
Personality[]
Kendo is a self-taught samurai with restless spirit and a pure heart. He became a warrior due to his love of old stories about the ancient magical samurai of Oninoshima.
Kendo does not get along with his siblings very well as they each have their own conflicting beliefs, but he still loves them nonetheless.
History[]
Chapter 6: Season 1[]
Upon the remergence of magic phenomena (Demon Warriors, Sprites, etc) across Reality: 783 kickstarted by a fragment of The Zero Point crashing into the island of Oninoshima, Kendo settled in Nightshift Forest - nearby the crash site. He (along with his sister, Jade) would meet Hope, allying with her due to their shared goals and overall moral standpoint.
Kendo first enlists the help of The Looper following their inquiry on the demons invading the island, tasking them with investigating[1] - and subsequently hunting[2] - their presence.
Later on, Kendo calls upon The Looper to investigate Jade's sudden disappearance - leading to his brother, Daigo, and his shop: The Thousand Faces. Kendo immediately suspects his brother's involvement, as despite his siblings' conflicting beliefs, he finds Daigo and Jade to be bad influences on each other due to their shared brilliance and reckless tendencies;[3] that, alongside the fact that Daigo seems to be experimenting with dark magic to recreate the prohibited and dangerous Masks of Power their ancestors had, to Kendo's strong disliking.[4]
Kendo recalls seeing his sister in one of the portals to the Spirit Realm, though initally brushes it off as a hallucination - however, following investigations done by The Looper and their own sighting of her, Daigo finally reveals that Jade had been cursed by the Demon Warriors, and the mask he made to protect her had amplified her curse enough for her entrance into the realm, but evidently not for her exit - accidentally trapping her there. Daigo is left hoping the mask will still protect her, while Kendo wonders how, even with the mask, she was able to enter - as typically only demons are able to cross into the realm. He subsequently tasks himself with finding her, and bringing her home.[5]
