Kit's Shockwave Launcher is a Mythic Explosive Weapon in Fortnite: Battle Royale. It was added in Chapter 2: Season 3. It is a Mythic version of the Shockwave Launcher.
Functionality
Kit's Shockwave Launcher functions identically to the regular grenade launcher, in terms of fire rate and magazine size, but the projectiles it launches are fundamentally different, as well as the weapons use. Kit's Shockwave Launcher launches Shockwave Grenades, which deal no damage to players, but can launch teammates and enemies away from the projectile. By this metric, the weapons use is not to attack players, but more to support teammates and yourself, although the grenades can be used to displace enemy players or launch them into the Storm.

Kit's Shockwave Launcher was only obtained by defeating Kit in Catty Corner.
Strategy Guide
- Kit's Shockwave Launcher can be used to launch enemy players into the storm in small storm circles. This will deal high damage to them and possibly kill them.
- Kit's Shockwave Launcher can be used to easily escape an engagement, get out of the storm quickly, or help teammates do either of these. It can also be utilized to displace knocked teammates into a safer location to prevent their elimination.

Trivia
- Although very similar to the Grenade Launcher, Kit's Shockwave Launcher uses a different angle for its render, as well as a slightly altered texture with purple elements to it.
- Strangely, Kit's Shockwave Launcher is available in the Unvaulted LTM. This is odd because every weapon in that mode is of the standard five rarities normally seen in game, and Kit's Shockwave Launcher is the only Mythic present. On top of this, the Launcher does not need to be acquired by eliminating Kit, as he is no longer present in the game, instead it drops from Chests and Floor Loot during Chapter 2: Season 5.
- It was last seen in Lazar & Fresh's Super Knockback.
- So far, this is the only Mythic item in the game introduced before it's regular counterpart.
