It's kind of amazing to see this Academy up and running. It's a dream.

Literally. I've been painting it, and other visions of our dire future, for weeks.

Never mind that. I'm Hope. Welcome home, hero-in-training.

Daigo used to want to save everyone. Now he's some kind of... supervillain? I don't get it.

But we're going to need your help to stop him. You up for it?

Our 'mysterious benefactor' has unlimited gold, sure, but weapons don't grow on trees.

Any weapon you don't have a use for, make sure you recycle it.

Even if it looks really, really cool.

If we're going to stop Daigo from doing... whatever exactly it is he's planning... We'll need more firepower.

Go track down a higher-tier weapon and get used to how it handles.

And uh... remember to have some fun out there, too.

If we're going to take down Daigo -- whether that's 'save him from himself' or... something else... -- we need to slow down whatever he's planning.

I need you to go out into the field and bust up Daigo's operations.

And if you can figure out why he suddenly went from wannabe-hero to supervillain, that would really help me sleep at night.

I don't have any more Assignments for you right now, hero. But, just so you know.

I'm really proud of what this Academy is accomplishing. What you heroes are accomplishing.

Am I a little jealous of all the camaraderie I'm seeing, after growing up with the 'difficult personalities' in The Society? A little.

But, ahem, that's my baggage. Not yours.

We don't know exactly what these Spires are, but they're pulling power from the land.

And endangering everyday people. Daigo has a lot to answer for...

What is he thinking?? He never put civilians in danger before...

We need you to go out into the field and rescue civilians caught in the chaos.

And... be careful, alright? I know you're all heroes-in-training, but I couldn't forgive myself if any of you got really hurt.

"We have to take the fight directly to Daigo, but we need him to come out of the shadows. This might take time, keep training for now."

This Academy was founded to fight for the powerless and stand up to bullies... and now that's Daigo.

Usually standing up to bullies feels right. I wish this did, too.

We have to confront Daigo. After everything he's done, he has to face justice.

Even if we can't defeat him for good while he's backed by these demons, we need to show him: We're not afraid.

I've been painting something, it's hard to describe... Like, worlds between worlds. I don't know what it means, but...

I don't think Daigo is in control. Which means we HAVE to save him.

Because that's what heroes do.

It's getting worse out there, hero. The Spires are trying to change the world into something... else. Something dark and strange.

Daigo's got a hideout somewhere, I'm sure of it.

We need to distract his forces, make him overextend.

That way, he won't be so careful, and we can use that time to find his headquarters.

I don't have any more Assignments at the moment.

So for now, do whatever you want to!

As I keep telling Morgan Myst, it's important to be a hero... but it's just as important to be a person. Loneliness is just as dangerous as burnout.

We actually did it. Thanks to your work, and the work of the other heroes...

... We've found Daigo's headquarters! We're calling it the Demon's Domain.

Daigo's plans are top-secret. And he's not talking, only grimacing menacingly.

But one of his captains might know more. With a little intimidation.

Take the fight to Daigo's captains.

And then, just maybe, we can free Daigo from whatever darkness has taken hold of him.

All I've ever wanted, even when I could afford whatever I wanted, was to help people.

This Academy is doing that. Little by little, we're making people's lives better.

Unlike my duplicitous, power-hungry sister Valeria, who never did an unselfish thing in her life...

This was supposed to be a place of safety and rest, where heroes could train in peace. Not another battleground.

We need to let Daigo know this is unforgivable... and show him exactly what happens when you come after our home.

Daigo's kitted out his forces with powerful weapons. They might be our best chance at protecting the Academy.

Go take some of their Legendary weapons, and bring the fight to the demons

You've done amazing work, hero. You've helped discover the dangers of the Spires, you've taken the fight to Daigo's doorstep...

... and when the Academy needed you most, you stepped up to defend it.

I could say I'm proud of you, but more important, you should be proud of yourself.

Daigo is still in the thrall of that darkness... but I'm holding onto hope that we can save him, once and for all. Until then... Good work, hero.

Expeditions Missions

0-Star Vacation

A group of tourists missed the alert that we’re under invasion by demonic forces. They’re in hiding but… not having a great time. Set up Comms to co-ordinate with the rescue team, bust up the Masks blocking our signals, and watch out for surprise tour guides.

Well, the Bridge's tourist rating is way down, but at least people are safe.

One Way Out

That bridge is the only escape route for people fleeing Utopia City! Let’s make sure we give them safe passage. Set up a Field Generator, some Comms, and clear the way for evac. We’re all counting on you.

The citizens have made their way to safety, all because of you and your Super Squad.

Extra Credit

If we’re going to have any chance against Mask Maker Daigo, we need Intel on what power he’s drawing from the Spires. And hey, extra credit for taking down whoever’s overseeing the operation.

Unexpected Visitors

Turns out, a full-blown invasion is not a great time for Friends and Family Day visitors to stop by. And it looks like we’ve got a special, evil tourist playing 'guest lecturer.' Get out there, repair our PA system and save those visitors!

We gotta get better about canceling visitor events when we're under attack...

We’ve got Intel that Mask Maker Daigo’s most powerful captains are gearing up for an arcane ritual in the Demon’s Domain. Lovely. We need your Super Squad to take out the key players and save those civilians!
