Lantern Fest is an Event in Fortnite: Battle Royale, that began on March 22nd 2023 and ended on April 21st 2023. This event coincided with the start of Ramadan, an Islamic tradition.

Keep the lanterns glowing! Lantern Fest is back in 2023, lighting up Fortnite with Lantography, Sandstorm Riddles, and more. Running from March 22nd to April 21st, it's time to share the light in Lantern Fest 2023!
This year brings the special Lantern Fest Tour island made by Illusion Creative, complete with palm trees, camels, lanterns, a desert, and skyscrapers. COMING SOON. Complete this island's challenges (Sand is Lava Parkour, Race Rumble, Flawless Fashion, and more) to unlock these in-game rewards:
Lantern Fest Tour Island is huge! This is just part of the creative island — part 2 will become attached starting 6th of April, 2023 at 10 AM ET, bringing even more challenges and sights to see.
Lantography[]
Join the celebration by sharing your best screenshot featuring the in-game lanterns that are going to be hanging around the BR Island!
To enter the [Lantern Fest 2023 Fortography Contest], follow us on Twitter at @fortniteME and share your best screenshot using the #LantographyContest2023 hashtag. The top 15 submissions will receive the Fortnite “Cameo Needs Loot” Emoticon.
The submission period for the [Lantern Fest 2023 Fortography Contest] begins March 23, 2023 at 2:00 PM ET and will run until March 30, 2023 at 4:00 PM ET. All contest entries must be submitted during the submission period, and each participant is limited to one entry.
