Lawless Shockwave Rocket Launcher is an Exotic Explosive Weapon in Fortnite: Battle Royale, that was added in Chapter 6: Season 2.
Lawless Shockwave Rocket Launcher is the Exotic version of the Rocket Launcher.
Functionality[]
Lawless Shockwave Rocket Launcher launches a rocket that creates a shockwave effect on impact, launching any players away from the point of impact. This weapon does not damage the user.
Lawless Shockwave Rocket Launcher fires a fast moving projectile, which is not affected by gravity.

As of Update v35.00, Lawless Shockwave Rocket Launcher cannot currently be obtained in Battle Royale and Zero Build as it has been vaulted.

- The Lawless Shockwave Rocket Launcher can be very good for mobility, and while it does use Rockets, they are very easy to come by in Chapter 6: Season 2, due to the abundance of Sticky Grenade Launchers.
- The Lawless Shockwave Rocket Launcher can be very effective against vehicles and structures, as while it may not deal damage to the wielder, it does deal damage to opponents, meaning it can be used as a 2-in-1 offensive against players attempting to escape in a vehicle, as it will deal large amounts of damage, and the Shockwave effect will send them flying, putting space between you and an opponent so you can finish them off with an Assault Rifle of sorts.
- If you have good aim, launch yourself through the air with the Lawless Shockwave Rocket Launcher, then shoot your opponent in mid air with a Mammoth Pistol.
Counters[]
- Much like the regular Rocket Launcher, the player needs to play carefully around the rockets via mastery of the movement or using mobility items. This is especially important as the Lawless Shockwave Rocket Launcher's rockets travel faster than the original and could even launch the player into a disadvantageous position.

- Before the Lawless Shockwave Rocket Launcher was officially released, it was possible to get into the Black Market Backrooms early through a glitch.
- The Lawless Shockwave Rocket Launcher is the only item that induces Knockback with the ability to launch Shogun X, despite his immunity to Skidding and Shockwave Grenades.
- The Lawless Shockwave Rocket Launcher's ability to sent you up into the air might be a reference to the Rocket Jumper from Team Fortress 2 which doesn't damage you but will "Rocket Jump" the user into the air without taking damage.
