Lazy Lagoon was a Named Location in Fortnite: Battle Royale added in Chapter 3: Season 3 to the island Artemis. It replaced The Daily Bugle in Update v21.40.
Overview[]
Lazy Lagoon was a small lake in a dormant volcano, that was brought here by The Zero Point. A massive pirate ship could have been found in the middle, with Reality Roots spreading around it. There were a few pirate themed buildings around the POI. Pirate Cannons could have been found here.

- Update v21.40: Lazy Lagoon returned inside The Volcano, replacing The Daily Bugle.
Chapter 3: Season 4[]
- Update v22.00: With the arrival of The Herald and the Chrome, Lazy Lagoon has been turned into the Lustrous Lagoon.

This article is about a location that has been removed from the map.
Lazy Lagoon was a Named Location in Fortnite: Battle Royale added in Season 8 to the island Athena. It replaced The Daily Bugle in Update v21.40. It replaced Lazy Links in Season 8.
Overview[]
It was a small lagoon with a pirate ship and a small port next to it. The lagoon also had some small islands, one which had an insignificant destroyed shed on it. Also not too far, was one of the pirate camps, which needed to be visited for a challenge in week 1. Lazy Lagoon was one of the areas that had the most cannons in the game because of the pirate ship.
History[]
Season 8[]
- Update v8.00: Lazy Lagoon was added to the map, replacing Lazy Links.
- Update v8.20: Cannons are directly aimed at the water and the anchor of the pirate ship is partially raised. It seems to be preparing for a battle.
Season X[]
- Update v10.00: A golf club house appeared near Lazy Lagoon. This was an Easter egg of Lazy Links, which Lazy Lagoon replaced.
- The End: Lazy Lagoon was sucked into a black hole.
Trivia[]
- There's a small island with small rocks on it that spell out SOS in the northeast corner of the location. There's also a soccer ball on the island, a reference to the movie Cast Away, in which the character Chuck Noland is stranded on an island alone, and makes friends with an inanimate volleyball he named Wilson.
- The pirate ship from Lazy Lagoon makes a cameo appearance inside The Mothership in Chapter 2: Season 7 when players get abducted, except the ship itself is split in half.
- It was one of the few Athena POIs to not return in Chapter 4: Season OG.
