Lazy Lake Island was a Landmark in Fortnite: Battle Royale, added in Chapter 2: Season 1, to the island Apollo. It was located inside co-ordinate B6, South of Corny Complex, North of Misty Meadows, and Southwest of Lazy Lake. It was also west of Levelled Lake
As suggested by the name, it was an island on the Lazy Lake. A house and a small jetty, or dock, could have be found there, along with an area that used to be where a Choppa would occasionally spawn. It was currently partially covered in debris from The Mothership and the eastern half of it is encompassed in an orange landscape during Chapter 2: Season 8.

- Lazy Lake Island is added to the game.
Update v11.40[]
- A house is being constructed on the island.
Update v12.00[]
- The house is completed and is turned into SHADOW Safe House - Delta.
Update v12.10[]
- An area of land on the island has been cleared, and some equipment and a wind sock have been placed around it.
Update v12.20[]
- A Choppa can now spawn here.
Update v13.00[]
- SHADOW Safe House - Delta has vanished from the house on Lazy Lake Island, along with much evidence of its existence, including the Phone Booth. The house that used to be the safe house has changed to what it remains to be today.
- Motorboat Mayhem has been built nearby.
Update v15.00[]
- Turk can be found here as a Character.
- The Choppa that spawned here has been removed, as the Choppa itself has been vaulted. The wind sock and equipment around the Choppa remains, however.
- A gorger will also not spawn here anymore as they, too, have been vaulted.
Update v15.10[]
- December 18th 2020 - Lazy Lake Island is now covered in snow.
- January 6th 2021 - The snow has melted from the location.
Update v16.00[]
- A small amount of the western side of the island has been covered in red grass, as part of the "primalized" island.
- Guardian of the Lake is now west of this landmark.
Update v18.00[]
- The Mothership was blown up due to the events of Operation: Sky Fire, and its remains litter the island. Parts of it landed on and near the location, creating Levelled Lake east of the location. As a result of the energy The Cubes brought to the island, the landscape on the eastern side of Lazy Lake Island is orange.

- (December 4th 2021): - The Cube Queen's corruption of the island has gradually completely engrossed the location up until the final moment before the Event.

Trivia[]
- The location's name is misleading, considering it's not the only island in the lake south of Lazy Lake.
- The fully corrupted images only depict the Landmark at 5 AM, December 4th. The location further corrupted until the very last second.
