- — Introduction text
Lobbers are Husk Monsters in Fortnite: Save the World that are first introduced during the second defense wave of Stonewood Storm Shield Defense 2.
Lobbers are one of the three feminine husks, the other two are the Mimic and the Nurse. Mimics share the same body as Lobbers but with a Chest as their head while Nurses share the same voice as Lobbers.
Behavior[]
Lobber husks throw purple skulls or beehives from a long distance. Purple skulls deal damage on impact to players and structures, while beehives linger and deal damage per second to players only.
Lobbers need to be prioritized during defense Missions as they can easily and quickly destroy buildings if left unchecked. When paired with Flingers, their combination can become especially dangerous.
Stats[]
The Lobber has a movement speed of 0.5 TPS (Tiles per Second) and has a Knockback Threshold of 399.
Types[]
There are 2 types of Lobbers, and an Event Variant of those two.
- Bombshell Lobber: Common in all areas. Lobs the standard high damage artillery skulls. Standard Lobbers are indicated by the purple flame on their head.
- Beehive Lobber: Throws beehives at the player and when they land, bees swarm the area. Beehive deals no damage to structures but can stick to them. Beehive Lobbers are indicated by the orange flame on their head.
- Mrs. Claus Lobber: A Winterfest version of the Lobber that appears throughout the game during the Frozen Fjords Venture Season. They wear red clothes and gloves, but are no different statistically.

Defensive Strategies
- Lobbers can be lured away from the objective by getting their attention. They will see danger and stop attacking to reposition themselves if nearby husks are attacked.
- Sniper weapons are the most effective choice against Lobbers. Clearing out obstacles like trees and rocks near Storm vortexes can make it much easier to kill them. Neon Sniper Rifle allows players to assassinate them from inside the fortification, ignoring obstacles.
- It is strongly recommended to add roofing to objective defenses, to prevent Lobbers' skulls from damaging the objective directly. Additional protection can be added by placing a pyramid building piece on top of a flat horizontal piece.
- A group of Beehive Lobbers can create a very restrictive field which is especially dangerous to Ninjas.
- Skull projectiles can be shot down mid-air. This is often easier if the Lobber has cover and it is too dangerous to abandon the objective to hunt it down. Weapons with a high rate of fire such as LMGs and SMGs make shooting the projectiles easier since the high rate of fire minimizes the need for accurate targeting.
- It is significantly easier to shoot down projectiles from normal Lobbers than beehive ones because the beehive projectile moves a lot faster.
- Use some Anti-Air Trap if a Lobber swarm is expected.
- Since the beehive projectile does not damage building pieces, hiding inside the building will force Beehive Lobbers to act like normal Husks, wasting their specialties.
