Lock On Pistol is a Pistol in Fortnite: Battle Royale. It was introduced in Chapter 4: Season 2.
Functionality[]
The Lock On Pistol is a fast firing, semi automatic pistol,that uses 
Light Bullets and has a headshot multiplier of 1.25x. It features a unique tracking system, that is activated once the player starts Aiming Down Sights. This tracking system has a maximum range of 50 meters and puts a blue circle around the player's crosshair. Once a player enters the circle, up to 4 bullets will charge and will all hit the target when the user fires the weapon. The 4th bullet of the burst will always be a critical hit.
The Lock On Pistol is a hitscan weapon, without First Shot Accuracy and it cannot be reloaded whilst aiming..

Feel free to add tips, tricks and general advice about the topic.- The Lock On Pistol requires time to charge all four shots while aiming down sights, so in a life-or-death situation it isn't the best. However, if an opponent is running away with low health, one or two shots charged should do the trick.
- The Lock On Pistol has the fastest fire rate and the highest DPS potential of all pistols, making it an excellent weapon for close range combat.
- The Lock On Pistol is useful for defeating players in the air, as those players cannot counter the pistol and shots from this weapon cannot be dodged. This is especially useful for players using ODM Gear since they risk dying to fall damage, and in Team Rumble since opponents are constantly flying down with no additional shield.
- The Lock On Pistol is incredibly powerful in Zero Build if used on an unsuspecting player.
- The Lock On Pistol can dish out over 100 damage if all 4 shots land.
- When aiming, the enemy can see a bright glint, similar to some sniper weapons.
- The Lock On Pistol has poor accuracy while Aiming Down Sights and not tracking an opponent. This is why it is not recommended to use this weapon past the 50 meter mark.
- A Marksman Rifle or a Sniper Rifle could be used to compensate for the lack of range.
- It is highly recommended to combine the lock-on aim with mobility items that allow you to fire while moving, like FlowBerry Fizz, as you can hit your opponent easily while making it very hard for your opponent to hit you.
- There is a very bright and distinct blue muzzle glare when using this weapon, so it is advised to try to lock on as many bullets as possible before the player sees this glare and knows that you’re using a Lock-On Pistol.
