The Locker is a Lobby feature in Fortnite. It is where the Player can manage and equip their owned Cosmetic Items. Some types of Cosmetic Items may not be available to use in all Game Modes. Players can access the Locker in-game with the Changing Booth, only in Creative.
Overview[]
- The Locker is divided into different sections. Each section contains unique and related types of Cosmetic Items that can be selected for use, and are organized in the following order:
- Character: Outfits, Back Blings, Pickaxes, Gliders, Kicks, Contrails and Auras;
- Emotes: Emotes;
- Wraps: Wraps;
- Lobby: Banner Icons, Lobby Music and Loading Screens;
- Cars (Sports Car and SUV / Truck): Car Bodies, Decals, Wheels, Trails and Boosts;
- Instruments: Guitars, Bass, Drums, Microphones and Keytars;
- Jam Tracks: Jam Tracks;
- LEGO® Kits: Builds and Decor Bundles.
Features[]
- Loadouts are a combo of all currently equipped cosmetics saved under a single bundle. It can store up to 200 different Loadouts. Options for viewing and saving Loadouts can be found at the bottom right of the Locker. Aside from equipping, they can be created, renamed, overrided, and deleted. LEGO® Kits cannot be equipped and, therefore, cannot be part of a Loadout.
- Presets allow the player to store different combos of cosmetics from specific sections of the Locker, so the player can quickly change them without having to manually select each one. Each section (except for LEGO® Kits, which cannot have Presets) can store up to 100 Presets. The Presets can be created, renamed, overrided and deleted.
- Favoriting can be done in order to make a selected variety of cosmetics stand out in the Locker and/or to filter what items can be equipped when selecting to Random a cosmetic type. The Player can view all favorited cosmetics by selecting "FAVORITES" in the filters. Favoriting or unfavoriting can be done by opening the three-dot drop-down menu on a cosmetic and selecting "Favorite Item"/"Unfavorite Item". LEGO® Kits cannot be favorited.
- Cosmetics can be Archived, meaning that they will no longer be viewable in the Locker. They can be viewed and equipped again by selecting "ARCHIVED" in the filters. Archiving favorited cosmetics will automatically un-favorite them. Archived cosmetics are excluded from the random cosmetic selection. Archiving or unarchiving can be done by opening the three-dot drop-down menu on a cosmetic and selecting "Archive Item"/"Unarchive Item". LEGO® Kits cannot be archived.
- Inside the Locker, it is possible to search for Cosmetics by typing their name in the Search Bar. It can also be used as a filter, by typing their series, set or chapter and season of release. There is also a Sort Filter option that allows to change the way Cosmetics are sorted and filtered. It is possible to sort by Default, Sets, A-Z and Season, and filter by All, Recent, Favorites, Archived and others depending on the Cosmetic Type. An option to Hide Unsuported Items (such as Age Restricted Cosmetics for the current experience or cosmetics that only appears when equipped along a specific Outfit) is also present.
- Some Cosmetic Types can be filtered by specific and exclusive categories. E.g.: Selectable Styles, Unlockable Styles, Enlightened, Reactive and Built-In Emote for Outfits; Emotes, Traversal, Synced, Emojis, Sprays and Toys for Emotes; Styles and Reactive for Pickaxes; and more.
- Some Cosmetics are Age Restricted, meaning they have an age rating higher than E or E10+ (or regionally equivalent). If a Player equips one of these Items and joins an Island below the designated rating threshold (E or E10+), their equipped Item will be replaced with one that's compatible with the Island's rating. For example, their Outfit will appear as a default Outfit.
- The Changing Booth is a Creative Device that allows players to change their cosmetics while in-game. Despite reflecting the Locker, the Cars, Jam Tracks, and LEGO® Kits tabs cannot be seen, and thus their respective cosmetics cannot be viewed or changed while using it.
Cosmetic Compatibility[]
Each Game Mode in Fortnite has unique cosmetic support. Cosmetic Types that are not available to use in a mode will be grayed out once the mode is selected, while displaying the warning "{Type} items are not usable in the current experience". If an unusable cosmetic from a supported type is equipped, another warning will be displayed: "The {Type} {Cosmetic Name} is not usable in the current experience. A default {Type} will be used in its place".
- Kicks can only be used with supported Outfits.
- Banners, Lobby Music and Loading Screens are always available for use, regardless of the selected mode.
- Decor Bundles and Builds are exclusive to LEGO Fortnite. However, they will never be grayed out, no matter which mode is selected, and viewing their tab will display that "LEGO® Kits can not be equipped. Once you are in a relevant Fortnite experience, you can use all of your owned Kits".
Battle Royale Playlists[]
- In Battle Royale and its variants, almost all Cosmetic Types can be used, except for Auras and Trails.
Save the World[]
- In Save the World, only Outfits, Back Blings, Pickaxes, Emotes and Wraps can be used. Wraps can be used in the Hoverboard and in Weapons (except Melee Weapons).
- The Save the World Locker includes an exclusive feature that allows players to use the appearance of the currently active Hero as their Outfit, along with that Hero's respective Back Bling.
- Some Reactive Cosmetics may not function properly in the Mode.
LEGO Fortnite[]
- In LEGO Fortnite, only LEGO® Style Outfits, Emotes, and Jam Tracks can be used, along with the mode's exclusive Cosmetic Types: Builds and Decor Bundles.
Rocket Racing[]
- In Rocket Racing, only Outfits, Car Bodies, Decals, Wheels, Trails, and Boosts can be used.
Fortnite Festival Playlists[]
- In Fortnite Festival and its variants, only Outfits, Back Blings, Kicks, Auras, Emotes, Bass, Guitars, Drums, Keytars, Microphones, and Jam Tracks can be used.
- Despite not being grayed out while Festival Jam Stage is selected, Auras cannot be used in the mode.
Creative[]
In Creative, the usable cosmetics vary based on the currently selected experience. However, the Locker will always gray out Cosmetic Types based on the type of the island, not on the actual compatibility with that island. Therefore:
- Fortnite Islands have the same compatibility as Battle Royale;
- LEGO Fortnite Islands have the same compatibility as LEGO Fortnite (despite Builds and Decor Bundles being unusable);
- Rocket Racing Islands have the same compatibility as Rocket Racing.
- Fall Guys Islands only supports Bean Style Outfits.

Some cosmetic items now have an age rating, and if a player equips one of these items and joins an island below the designated rating threshold, their equipped item will appear as an item that's compatible with the island's rating (for example, their Outfit will appear as a default Outfit). An item with a high age rating will appear with a yellow and light blue warning sign centered on top of it in the Locker, indicating that it cannot be used in the selected experience. A warning also appears under the Play/Ready button in the Lobby stating that "Your selected outfit can't be worn in experiences of this rating". Restricted items on the Emote Wheel appear with a Lock icon and cannot be performed.
Chapter 5: Season 1
Update v28.00
- Introduced new types of Cosmetic Items: Auras, Guitars, Bass, Drums, Microphones, Keytars, Car Bodies, Decals, Wheels and Jam Tracks.
- Outfits are now divided into two types: Fortnite Style and LEGO® Style.
- Reduced the number of cosmetic items with an age rating higher than E or E10+ (or regionally equivalent) from approximately 340 to 14. Now only cosmetic items considered 'scary' have a higher age rating.
- Fixed an issue in the Save the World Locker where it wasn't possible to select edit styles for Heroes' appearances.
- Completely revamped the Locker user interface to match the new Lobby user interface design.
- The item boxes now have a 1:1 ratio and round edges; The "New" badge is now a yellow circle instead of a tilted yellow rectangle with a black exclamation centered inside it and do not show the amount of new items anymore; There is a button for saving or overriding presets under the item boxes which reads "SAVE {TabName}" (e.g.: Save Character; Save Emotes; ...); The "Clear All", "Randomize Loadout" and "Clear Loadout" options now only show up when selecting the "Options" button located under the Save Preset button; The "Randomize Loadout" option no longer selects only favorited items; Presets are now located in a list under Options, arranged in a 3 x 33 grid that can be scrolled up and down; The "Favorite" badge is now a white heart centered inside a black circle instead of a pink heart; The default icons for all cosmetic item types have been updated to a fully white version, instead of being a mix of solid and semitransparent white colors; In the Presets list, it is now shown how many presets are saved (e.g.: 90 OF 100); The "Quick Save" and "Shuffle" options for presets have been removed; The rarity background for all cosmetic items have been removed.
- The Locker is now constructed between different tabs: Character (Outfit, Back Bling, Pickaxe, Glider, Contrail, Aura); Emotes (Emote/Emoji/Spray/Toy); Wraps (Wrap); Lobby (Banner, Lobby music, Loading screen); Instruments (Guitar, Bass, Drums, Microphone, Keytar); Cars (Car Body, Decal, Wheels) and Jam tracks (Jam tracks).
- Revamped the user interface for when inside the Locker (selecting a Cosmetic).
- Inside the Locker, the list of owned cosmetic items now shows up at the right side of the screen; It is now possible to switch to other cosmetic item type from the same tab without going back to the main Locker via the left and right arrows above the search bar; An item is equipped just by selecting it one time, without having to apply/save changes (same goes for when editing selectable styles); When hovering over an item, three dots appear below the item box, and pressing it reveals the options to "Archive" or "Favorite" the item; The rarity background for all cosmetic items have been removed; The "Back to Top" button has been removed; No hotkey is assigned to "Favorite", "Archive", "Swing Pickaxe"/"Redeploy Glider"/"Trigger Weapon"/"Play Again" anymore, so it's necessary to select the three dots in case one of those actions needs to be performed.
- Equipped Cosmetics and Locker Presets are now shared between all Modes, including Save the World.
- As a result of this, all previously saved Save the World Presets were automatically added to the bottom of the Presets list. A Preset containing the last active loadout from Save the World before the update was also automatically added.
- In the Save the World locker, only the Character (Outfit, Back Bling, Pickaxe), Emotes (Emote/Emoji/Spray/Toy), Wraps (Wrap) and Lobby (Banner, Lobby Music, Loading Screen) tabs are present.
- Issue: The Presets list may sometimes only have 2 columns.
- Issue: The Save the World Locker now displays the "New" badge next to its name even if there is no unseen cosmetic currently.
- Issue: The Save the World Locker displays Outfits in a 5-column grid, instead of 6 like in other modes.
Update v28.01.01
- Re-added rarities background for "Series" rarity items.
- The "New" badge now has a black exclamation mark centered inside it.
- When a cosmetic is selected, it is now highlighted by a yellow border around the item box, instead of having a File:Selected - Icon - Fortnite.png green check mark appear on the top left corner.
- Issue: The item box for items that are part of a "Series" rarity may sometimes have sharpened edges instead of rounded ones.
Update v28.10
- Introduced a new type of Cosmetic Item: Trails. It belongs in the Cars tab.
- A smaller version of the "New" badge also appears on the tabs if any item in that tab is currently unseen.
- Re-added the "Back to Top" button when inside the Locker and for the Presets list.
- The three dots now have a background, making it look more like a button. They now also appear inside the item box instead of below it.
- The three-dot button now also appears when hovering over an item from outside the Locker. It can be used to Favorite/Unfavorite, use the item (Redeploy Glider, Trigger Weapon, etc) and to clear all badges from that cosmetic type.
- Changed the icons for Empty and Random to a new and smaller version when seen from inside the Locker.
- Slightly adjusted the size of some elements from inside the Locker to make everything consistently aligned, including the Search Bar and the Sort & Filter button.
- Moved the magnifying glass icon from the left to the right of the Search Bar, decreased its size, and removed the drop shadow behind it.
- Fixed inconsistencies with the Presets list size. The Presets are now always displayed in a 3-column grid, instead of 2 in some instances.
- Fixed the Favorite and Archived icons repeating within their badge backgrounds.
Update v28.20
- Introduced a new type of Cosmetic Item: Boosts. It belongs in the Cars tab.
- Increased the image quality of item portraits on the Locker.
Update v28.30

- However, if the amount of unseen items reaches 100 or more, File:New Badge (99+ - v28.30) - Icon - Fortnite.png "99+" will be displayed.
- Added the option to randomly choose Guitars, Bass, Drums, Microphones and Keytar, including an icon for those options.
- Changed the default icon for most item types in the Character, Wraps and Lobby tabs to a new version, including their "Random" variants.
- Issue: However, the Save the World Locker still displays the old icon for Back Blings.
- Inside the Locker, the "Sort & Filter" option has been renamed to "Sort Filter".
- When selecting in Save the World, Outfits are now displayed in a 6-column grid, instead of 5, thus making it consistent within other modes.
Chapter 5: Season 2
Update v29.00
- Added a new tab to the Locker: LEGO® Kits.
- Introduced two new types of Cosmetic Items: Builds and Decor Bundles. They belong in the LEGO® Kits tab.
- The three-dot button that appears when hovering over a Cosmetic is now more square.
- The "Small New" badge for tabs now appears in the top right corner, instead of being centered to the right of that tab.
- Re-added the option to Random Presets (formerly known as Shuffle Presets).
Update v29.10
- All Locker Tabs can now be seen while in Save the World, instead of just the Character, Emotes, Wraps and Lobby ones.
- Cosmetics that are not compatible with Save the World will be grayed out, followed by a warning that those items are not usable in the current experience.
- The Cars tab has been removed from when viewing the Locker in a Changing Booth.
- Jam Tracks are now displayed with a light blue to purple gradient border and moving spotlights of the same colors behind it. It also slowly moves up and down.
- Changed the Random icon for all instruments to be in par with the icons used in Festival Main Stage and when playing a Jam Loop.
- Changed the color of the magnifying glass icon in the Search Bar from white to gray.
- Changed the color of the "Search" text in the Search Bar from a blue similar to that of the Search Bar to gray.
Update v29.20
- All Cosmetic Items core Rarities (Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic and Legendary) are now hidden in the Locker. Series Rarities are still present.
- Therefore, the option to sort cosmetics by Rarity has been removed, and the Locker is now sorted alphabetically by default.
- When inside the Locker, Jam Tracks are now sorted in a vertical list that displays their name, artist and cover, instead of in a 6-column grid that only displayed their cover.
- The File:New Badge (99+ - v28.30) - Icon - Fortnite.png "New" badge with numbers is now File:New Badge (99+ - v29.20) - Icon - Fortnite.png slightly bigger, having the same size as the "Favorite" badge.
- The "Favorite" badge no longer appears if a cosmetic type also is marked with the "New" badge.
- The Small "New" badge can also be seen in the top right corner of the buttons for changing to another cosmetic type from the same tab, if any cosmetic of that type is currently unseen.
- Most buttons when inside the Locker are now slightly translucent, meaning their final colors are a blend of the background's color with the buttons' actual color. This change did not affect the buttons for changing to another cosmetic type from the same tab.
- Since the background color of the Locker is blue, most buttons' colors also tend to be shades of blue.
- Changed the font color of the text when viewing a cosmetic (such as the description, "Part of the XXX set", and "Introduced in XXX") from gray to white.
- Changed the square brackets around the Additional Features of a cosmetic item (Category:Selectable Styles, Category:Reactive Cosmetics, etc.) from gray to white.
- The scroll bar was reverted to the one used before Update v12.20, featuring a thin, line-like track and a rectangular white thumb.
- Issue: The Random icon for Outfits has been changed to be the same as File:Empty (v28.10) - Icon - Fortnite.png Empty.
Update v29.30
- Jam Tracks can now be searched properly in the Locker.
- The backgrounds of all item boxes for cosmetics in the Locker are now slightly translucent, meaning their final colors are a blend of the Locker background color with the item boxes' actual background colors. The same goes for the Presets' backgrounds.
- Since the background color of the Locker is blue, most item boxes' and presets' background colors also tend to be shades of blue, with some having a more purplish color.
- Selecting to Swing Pickaxe/Redeploy Glider/Trigger Weapon or hovering away from the three-dot drop-down menu no longer closes it.
- Issue: In the Save the World Locker, cosmetics that are not usable in the mode no longer are grayed out, except for Auras and Trails.
Update v29.40
- The Save the World Locker tab no longer displays the "New" badge close to its name even when there is no unseen cosmetic currently.
- After exiting Save the World, the current hero's appearance and Back Bling still appears as equippable in the Locker. However, attempting to select the Outfit will instead equip a default one and the Back Bling cannot be selected at all.
- The buttons for changing to another cosmetic type from the same tab are now slightly taller, matching the size of the Sort Filter button.
- The Random icon for Outfits has been reverted to be the actual designated icon, instead of being the same one as Empty.
Chapter 5: Season 3
Update v30.00
- Introduced a new type of Car Bodies: SUV / Truck bodies.
- Updated the Cars tab.
- It is now collapsable and has two subtabs, Sports Car and SUV / Truck. A white arrow was added at the end of the tab's name to further enhance that it can be opened and closed.
- Through the new "Set Primary Vehicle" button, the player can choose between what type of vehicle will be used in supported experiences, aside from Battle Royale.
- When the primary vehicle is selected, a white check mark will appear on the left of that vehicle type's subtab.
- Moved the Cars tab one tab up. The tabs order now is Character, Emotes, Wraps, Lobby, Cars, Instruments, Jam Tracks and LEGO Kits.
- The Options button text now reads "Loadout Options" instead of just "Options", and its height has been increased to match that of the "Save Tab" button.
- Reduced the size of the "Back to Top" button to just enough to accommodate the up-pointing arrow.
Update v30.10
- Jam Tracks can now be used as Lobby Music.
- Updated the "Set Primary Vehicle" button in both Cars subtabs. Instead of simply setting the vehicle from the current subtab as primary, it now opens a pop-up window that allows the player to choose between the following options: Sports, SUV / Truck, and Random.
- While inside the Locker, if a unseen cosmetic is also Favorited/Archived, both New and the other badge can be seen.
- In the Save the World Locker, cosmetics that are not usable in the mode are appropriately grayed out once again.
- The scroll bar was reverted to the one used before Update v29.20, featuring a large light blue track with rounded edges and a rounded white thumb inside it.
- Issue: While inside the Locker, items may randomly be marked as new and favorited, even after their badge has been cleared and if they were never marked as Favorite. However, the number of unseen items displayed over the cosmetic types outside the Locker remains unaffected. Empty and Random can also be randomly marked as new and favorited.
Update v30.20
- Added predefined and unswappable hotkeys to the options in the three-dot drop-down menu. It is once again possible to Favorite, Archive, Swing Pickaxe/Redeploy Glider/Trigger Weapon, etc., by hovering over an item and pressing a key, even when the drop-down menu is closed. This feature is only available for Keyboard and Mouse input and has not been implemented in the Save the World Locker.
- Additionally, there are also hotkeys for Edit Styles and Archive Item, and if outside the Locker, Clear All Badges and Randomize Item. It is not possible to archive cosmetics from outside the Locker.
- Items are no longer randomly marked as new while inside the Locker.
- Fixed the size of the Banner preview when equipped. It now covers the entire cosmetic type's item box and is no longer stretched.
- The Rap Boy Outfit can no longer be viewed or equipped through the Locker, as its data was re-encrypted.
- Issue: The "New" badge and its "with numbers" variant cannot be seen over the Banner cosmetic type, even if there is an unseen item of that type.
- June 26th 2024: The Rap Boy Outfit can be viewed and equipped through the Locker again.
Update v30.30
- Introduced a new type of Outfit: Bean Style.
- Jam Tracks can now be properly equipped as Lobby Music, instead of sometimes showing a "Failed to meet requirements" error.
- The text of all buttons in the Locker are now slightly translucent, meaning their final colors are a blend of the Locker background color, the respective button's color and the text's actual color.
- Since the Locker background color is blue and the button text is black, most of the text tends to appear as a dark shade of blue.
- Updated the icons for KBM and Gamepad hotkeys, which also affects the Locker.
- Keyboard and Mouse icons are now more square and use a different, more compact font. The icons can be black for lighter interfaces or white for darker interfaces. For instance, the three-dot drop-down menu uses the white variant, while the sort filter menu uses the black one.
- Gamepad icons follow the same rule, with black icons for lighter interfaces and white icons for darker interfaces. The key's color, if any, may change depending on the variant.
- Added hotkeys to the options in the three-dot drop-down menu to the Save the World Locker.
- While editing styles for any cosmetic, the "Cape Included" warning always appears, whether it's appropriate or not.
Update v30.40
- The "Cape Included" warning no longer always appears while editing styles for cosmetics.
Chapter 5: Season 4
Update v31.00
- Changed the icon of the File:Empty (v31.00) - Icon - Fortnite.png Empty option to a smaller and less rounded.
- Increased the width of the scroll bar, which also made the item boxes get slightly smaller.
- Changed the font style of the "Search" text on the Search Bar to be regular instead of bold.
- Moved the "Search" text on the Search Bar slightly to the right, giving it a margin from the border similar to that of the magnifying glass icon.
Update v31.10
- Issue: The preview of the equipped Banner makes it appear extremely cropped, thus making only the center of the Banner visible. This also affects the preview of saved Lobby presets.
Update v31.20
- While searching inside the Locker, a X button appears to the right of the Search Bar and can be used for clearing its contents. This does not apply while using Gamepad input.
Update v31.30
- Halved the size of the X button that appears while searching inside the Locker.
Update v31.40
- Updated all Synced Emotes to display the required number of characters to properly trigger special animations or show all their variations. Synced Emotes that only cause other characters to perform the same Emote on their own, rather than triggering unique, matching animations, are limited to 3 characters during previews.
- For instance, when using the Bear Hug or High Five Emotes, the character will no longer remain in the Emotes' "idle/waiting" state. Additionally, Emotes such as Hooray and Bye Bye Bye will only show 3 characters.
- Updated the icons for Empty and Random, as well as for every other instance that previously used the Random icon (such as when Random is selected for a cosmetic type viewed outside the Locker).
Chapter 2 Remix
Update v32.00
- Introduced a new type of Emotes: Beat Synced Emotes.
- Restructured and slightly revamped the user interface for the Locker.
- The Locker is now a single, scrollable page with multiple sections, instead of being separated into different tabs; The tabs are now used to jump to specific sections of the Locker, and they automatically collapse when not hovered; The first rows of cosmetic types now always go to the 4th slot before breaking a line, instead of breaking at the 3rd slot in some cases; Changed the font for the tab names to a thinner one; Added a File:Clear Badges (v31.40) - Icon - Fortnite.png Clear Badges button under the tabs for clearing all New badges in the Locker; Added a "My Locker Loadout" text above the sections' names; Added a thin gray line fading to the right under the sections' names; Once a Preset is loaded, a Preset Link icon, along with the Preset's name to its right, will appear over the gray line under that section's name; The "Loadout Options" button is now a three-dot square button located after the sections' names; Renamed the "Randomize Loadout" option under the Options button to "Randomize"; Moved the "Save {TabName}" and "Set Primary Vehicle" options, along with the Presets list (now located under the "Load {TabName}" option), to the three-dot square button; Presets are now displayed in a 4-column grid instead of 3; The Presets list no longer displays slots with File:Add - Icon - Fortnite.png Add icons when there are still Presets slots available, and newly saved Presets will now be placed after the last used slot in the list; Added the "Save Loadout" and "View All Loadouts" buttons for the new Loadouts feature; The File:Check Mark (Circle - White) - Icon - Fortnite.png white check mark, which highlights the vehicle set as primary, is now located to the left of the section's name instead of the subtab's name, and setting Random as primary will instead display the Random icon to the left of both subtabs' names; Changed the background color of the "Usable in" disclaimer from a translucent black to a solid black; The LEGO® Kits section now displays a "View All" button instead of directly opening the preview for Builds and Decor Bundles, along with a warning that says "LEGO® Kits can not be equipped. Once you are in a relevant Fortnite experience, you can use all of your owned Kits".
- Issue: These changes did not apply to the Changing Booth user interface.
- Introduced a new feature to the Locker: Loadouts. It can be used to store a combo of all cosmetic types from all sections under a single preset. Up to 200 Loadouts can be saved at once. Once a Loadout is loaded, a Loadout icon, along with the name of the Loadout to its right, will appear after the "My Locker Loadout" text.
- Increased the maximum number of Presets that can be saved for each section at once from 100 to 200.
- Issue: The preview for Dual-Wield Pickaxes displays both Pickaxes on the same side instead of crossed, causing them to appear stacked on top of each other.
- Issue: Sliders and number selectors do not appear when editing styles for cosmetics with these features.
Update v32.10
- Introduced a new type of Cosmetic Item: Kicks. They belong in the Character section.
- Although added, they are currently disabled and cannot be used.
- Added a new filter option for Outfits: KICKS USABLE.
- When a cosmetic's preview is zoomed or rotated, details such as its name and description will fade out.
- Fixed an issue where sliders and number selectors were missing when editing the styles for cosmetics with these features.
Update v32.11
- Enabled Kicks.
The section above is incomplete. Details about UI/UX changes and the introduction of new cosmetic subtypes from before Chapter 5 may be missing. |
Trivia[]
- Since the v30.00 Update, when any cosmetic in any of the Cars subtabs is viewed, the background color of the Locker changes to a much lighter shade of blue, bringing similarities to the background from before the Locker's major revamp in Update v28.00.
- This also affects the background of other instances where a car-related cosmetic can be viewed, such as when previewing one in the "claim rewards" screen and in the Item Shop.
- The Changing Booth also has a different background color from the one used in the Locker; however, this background applies to all cosmetics.
- At the start of Update v30.20, the Rap Boy Outfit couldn't be equipped or seen in the Locker due to it being re-encrypted. It was only decrypted four days later, along with the release of the Houdini Emote.
- A similar situation occurred in Update v31.40, with the Omni-Claw Pickaxe being re-encrypted along with the Edward Scissorhands Set cosmetics. However, it was decrypted just a few hours after the update, unlike the Rap Boy Outfit, which remained encrypted for a much longer time.
- In Chapter 2: Season 3, it was announced that Save the World would no longer be able to support all upcoming Cosmetic purchases from Battle Royale over the coming months.
- However, all Cosmetics introduced from Chapter 2: Season 3 onward are still compatible with it, with the only exception of the newly added Jam Track Loops.
- Additionally, Jam Track support is planned to be added to Save the World soon.[1]
