The Locker is a Lobby feature in Fortnite. This is where the player can manage and equip their owned Cosmetic Items. Some types of Cosmetic Items (such as Gliders and Contrails) may not be available in Save the World. Players can access the Locker in-game only in Creative with the Changing Booth.

The Presets Interface

  • Locker Presets allow you to store different combos of lockers without changing them. They can be renamed, overrided, deleted, and created.
  • Cosmetics can be "archived", meaning that they will no longer be viewable in the locker. They can be accessed and viewed at in the "Archived" Tab. Archiving favorited cosmetics will automatically un-favorite them.

Locker in Save the World[]

The Save the World locker is identical to the Battle Royale, but without the Glider and Contrail slots. The active cosmetic loadout and presets are separate from Battle Royale.

When an outfit is not equipped, you will use your Hero's default appearance. Some heroes have unlockable styles that can be selected in the locker by evolving your selected hero. Some heroes will also include unique back blings that can be worn. These back blings can be used for other outfits in Save the World.

Reactive cosmetics may or may not work in Save the World. For example, the Midas outfit will turn weapons gold. Cosmetics that react to eliminations do not trigger when eliminating Husk Monsters. Outfits that require a certain amount of damage to activate the reactivity however do work in Save the World, but they immediately change to the final stage upon hitting any husk with any weapon because weapons deal thousands of damage in Save the World.
