Loot Island was an Unnamed Location and a mid-match objective in Fortnite: Battle Royale, that was added in Chapter 5: Season 1 to the island Helios. At a certain point in the game, Loot Island would appear at a random (but specific) location through a Rift.

  • Loot Island has returned with a completely different building housing a Mod Bench. The Capture Point no longer grants any Mythic loot.

  • A new variant of the island, named Isle of Doom, has 5% chance to appear instead of the classic version.
  • September 6th 2025: The chance of Isle of Doom appearing was increased to 12%.
  • September 9th 2024: Decreased the chance of Isle of Doom appearing back down to 5%.
  • September 13th 2024: The chance of Isle of Doom appearing was increased to 20%.
  • September 14th 2024: The chance of Isle of Doom appearing was increased to 25%.
  • September 15th 2024: The chance of Isle of Doom appearing was increased to 30%.

  • Raw Kinetic Ore veins can be found underneath the island.
  • The Zero Point's Reality Wave sound can be heard from the island.
  • As of Chapter 5: Season 1, Loot Island contains the only Capture Point left in the game.
  • In Chapter 5: Season 3, Metallica's Loot Island contains a tribute to Cliff Burton, who was Metallica's bassist from 1982 to his untimely death in 1986.
    • The music that plays when Metallica's Loot Island spawns is "The Ecstasy of Gold" by Ennio Morricone from the soundtrack of "The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly". Metallica commonly uses this song as an opener.
  • For unknown reasons, Loot Island can't spawn in the Wasteland Biome as of Chapter 5: Season 4 except above the lake.
    • If The Storm is only in The Wasteland biome area when Loot Island is supposed to appear, it won't spawn.

  • Claiming the Landmark grants a unique Mythic Overclocked Pulse Rifle.
