“ | If you're out there, we need your help! The Storm came, and the monsters followed. They took everything: our towns, even our families. The few of us left are in serious danger... Now it's the time to fight back! All we need is a leader. And that's you. Sure it'll be dangerous. I mean, yeah, there's monsters (a lot of monsters!) but we've got massive forts, killer traps, and piles of loot. If we stick together, they don't stand a chance. This is our world, and it's time to take it back!

Before Save the World[]
The Storm[]
The Last Reality summons the Storm King and invades the world, forming The Storm that affects the entire world. Vindertech tries to prevent The Storm from happening, but failed. This results in 98% of the world population being killed or turning into zombies known as Husk Monsters. The Storm also created Mist Monsters, the strongest form of Storm Monsters.
Homebase[]
The remaining survivors form Homebase to fight the Storm. Doctor Vinderman creates Ray to take charge of Homebase. He then creates Ray's assistants: Pop, Lok, and Kevin. Doctor Vinderman had Desiree as his assistant but she left Vindertech due to many mistakes that Doctor Vinderman had made.
Stonewood[]
The original Commander has been lost but a survivor arrives and takes charge as a new Commander, helping Ramirez against a horde and creating the first successful rocket launch. The rocket contains a Storm Shield which was deployed in Stonewood. The Commander sets up an ATLAS to clear The Storm outside of their Storm Shield. Homebase meet Lars and Dennis with the Commander launching Lars into The Storm. Major Oswald, Clip, and Director Riggs are taken into Homebase and are given positions to help fight the storm. Dennis goes missing and ends up with the Storm King, but Lars saves him. Pop goes missing in Plankerton and Homebase decides to head into Plankerton. The rocket was launched to deploy the Storm Shield in Plankerton.
Plankerton[]
Homebase expands to Plankerton. The Homebase team finds Pop, but he has a mean attitude, later fixed by Lars. SEE-BOT is created to help during Repair The Shelter missions. Dark Rifts are discovered and researched. Their purpose is then revealed. So Ray and Homebase create a Bomb capable of detonating the Dark Rifts, in the Deliver the Bomb mission. After hearing about the citizens of Plank Harbor, Homebase sets up a Category 3 ATLAS Mission at Plank Harbor to completely wipe the storm from that area. Ray and the Commander were sent out to find Doctor Vinderman in his lab. However, by the time they got to the lab, he was already dead as a result of a lab accident. So the Commander defended the lab from Monsters and managed to save at least one of the lab servers. Homebase later learnt about Lars's past. The rest of the Steel Wool band wanted to be with Doctor Vinderman to work on saving the world but Lars chose not to, which caused his band to end. Homebase decides to go to Canny Valley and they launch a rocket that drops the Storm Shield on that location.
Canny Valley[]
Homebase expands to Canny Valley. Ray and the Commander explore Thunder Route 99. SEE-BOTs were deployed into the desert as they are annoying Homebase. The Commander built a memoral for Doctor Vinderman in the desert. Lars find Steel Wool Syd. Incriminating evidence is discovered about a theory that the storm may have arrived on Earth much earlier and defeated according to ancient drawings. The Commander defeats Blackboot Ayers in Ghost Town. Steel Wool Anthony is found. Desiree is found and has been working with another group of people including Steel Wool Carlos. Steel Wool is later reunited after finding the members. A plan is now in the works to destroy the Storm King using a remote bomb. The Vinderman AI is unpacked from SEE-BOT at the Vinderman Mansion after defending the servers from Husk attack. The Storm King uses mind-control on the surviors at Homebase and Ray helps clean the mess up.
Storm King[]
Power Chord joins to help defeat the Storm King. Homebase delivers the final blow against the Storm King as the commander defeats him and Desiree sacrifices herself to blow up the portal. Homebase later expands the Storm Shield to Twine Peaks and they launch a rocket there.
Twine Peaks[]
Homebase expands to Twine Peaks. They performed several regular missions there until they learnt about several Storm Kings heading toward Homebase.
Ventures[]
Flannel Falls[]
Blockbuster
- Ray goes missing and the Commander along with Lok and Spitfire investigates a mysterious comet. Ray returns and Spitfire is brought back home after he discovered a vulnerability about himself and left. The Commander helps Ray make a suit for Spitfire to protect him from the radiation, making his Superhero dream come true. Chrome Huskies are taken down, and the comet is destroyed with the help of the Commander.
Valor
- Major Oswald has lost his cool and is insecure about his heroic skills. The Crew brings back Val, Major's old student to help bring his confidence back up.
No Dancing
- A Love Storm is spreading and Major Oswald takes matters into his own hands. Stoneheart Farrah, a former matchmaker, joins him to stop the spread of love. Ray convinces everyone that love is worth the risk. Love Lobbers are defeated and everything returns to normal.
Scurvy Shoals[]
Yarrr!
- A pirate ship has crashed into Homebase. The Commander helps Ray by disarming it before the pirates can attack. An adventure ensues as the Crew helps Blakebeard and Keelhaul find "treasure", retrieve Homebase's stolen goods and help them cure their sea sickness. The Commander helps build a pirate ship for the Pirates and they venture on into the sea.
Brawl of the Wild
- Homebase is under siege by a menagerie of wild animals. The Commander helps Ray and Dennis by taking down some of them to control the situation. Gia, a mysterious wolf-lady helps bring peace to Homebase by taming and feeding wild animals, and taking down Monsters with them.
Yarrr's Return
- Blakebeard has died and returns as a Ghost Pirate. He's having trouble fitting in with other Ghost Pirates. Riggs and The Commander help Blakebeard get his rep up by destroying lanterns and poisoned grog barrels, collecting stashes of treasure and crowns for him. Riggs is then helped gain confidence and more, and joins the Crew as a Hero.
Flight of the Fennix
- Following a recent loss, Riggs brings in an expert named Fennix to help train the Homebase team. He assigns the Commander to eliminate Husks as a test of their skills and to rescue Survivors for conducting surveys.
- Fennix then suggests the idea of rebranding Homebase to Riggs, who is initially hesitant but eventually agrees. Fliers promoting the rebrand are distributed using flier cannons after Fennix convinces everyone, including Riggs, to support the mission. However, while the Crew is occupied, Fennix takes the opportunity to steal from Homebase.
- Lars attempts to track Fennix using his van in the sky but is unsuccessful, leading to the deployment of FOX-SEE-Bots to locate him. Fennix is eventually found and comes to terms with the Crew.
Blasted Badlands[]
Imposter!
- The Blasted Badlands are discovered and Dennis confronts his Imposter Syndrome, which starts to haunt him just as his Hero training with Major Oswald begins. To support him, the Crew assigns Dennis easier tasks to boost his confidence, while the Commander scours the zone for CCTV security footage to trace the source of the Imposter.
- Dennis is then given various assignments, including surveying the area, smashing old cars, rescuing Survivors, and eliminating Husks. As Dennis starts to believe in himself and gain confidence, the Imposter is finally defeated and fades away.
Tales of Beyond
- Lok goes missing after The Crew's irresponsibility. They set out flier cannons to distribute missing posters, and review the CCTV footage and discover that Ray accidentally locked him out, Luna shoo'd him away by saying "Go away, we don't want you here!" thinking he was a Husk, Major Oswald made him run for his life during a light-hearted recruit test by throwing grenades, and Jess scared him away.
- Lok is soon found wet and damaged, and he reveals that he encountered some kind of "monster" during his time away. Dennis gathers oven parts and heating elements to create a "post-surgery incubation oven" for Lok to recover in. While Lok recuperates, the Crew continues their investigation by destroying wardrobes in search of potential monsters, gathering dinosaur toys to build a Dino-robot that devours teddy bears for Lok, and collecting arcade games and multiple TVs for him to enjoy. The TVs, however, keep exploding after a short time due to Lok’s nature as an oven robot.
- Eventually, the monster is located after Ray has Lok print out diagnostic self-reports. The Crew decides that dealing with the monster can wait, and Dennis turns the entire experience into a movie, with the Commander's help in collecting video editing software. To be continued...
Beyond The Stellar Horizon
- Survivors are growing despondent, believing the Storm might never be defeated, leading them to abandon long-term plans. When Azalea Clark is seen at Homebase, Ray thinks re-shooting Beyond The Stellar Horizon—which tells the story of a Hero—might boost morale. The Crew bands together to locate ED-EE and Intergalactic Ken, reconstruct the stage, build a rocket, and film the movie. They become anxious, fearing the movie will be poorly received and that they might face criticism. In the end, Survivors mistakenly take the film as a comedy, and it becomes the subject of ridicule. Despite this, the Crew is relieved.
Outlandish Oddities
- Riggs is alerted by Dennis to issues with high BluGlo decay rates, new storm anomalies, and malfunctioning T.E.D.D.I.E.S.. Upon discovering that most of the Outlander squad has quit due to frequent rescheduling by Homebase, Riggs learns only three Outlanders: Jilly, Madcap, and Mayhem remain.
- During a meeting, Mayhem complains about off-brand Slurp Juice, and Riggs promises to resolve this issue if they assist with Homebase. He coordinates with them to address these issues, but their analysis does not uncover the malfunction's cause.
- Riggs decides to mend relations with the Outlanders, agreeing to their demands in exchange for their help in stabilizing Homebase. Jilly leads a Rescue the Survivors mission but the Outlander trio scare them off before rescuing them, causing some of them to return crying. Dennis seeks help from both Madcap and Mayhem, with mixed results, and promises Mayhem that her personnel file will remain private.
- Meanwhile, the Crew destroys unusual storm clusters manifesting as Husk Pods and traces the source to a corrupted Vending Machine, which they defeat and bring back to Homebase for analysis.
Hexsylvania[]
Clip's Nightmare
- A mysterious spell has been cast on Homebase, causing everyone to blurt out whatever comes to mind, creating chaos. The ghost of Clip's friend, "Cartridge," is discovered trapped inside a Ghost Pistol.
- The Crew speculates that Cartridge may have returned to seek revenge for her death. Clip, who is somehow unaffected by the spell, reveals that Needle's Gang was responsible for it. The Commander helps destroy the tombstones of Needle and his gang, but this doesn’t resolve the situation.
- Cartridge then starts to remember the events leading to her death, and confronts Clip, who reveals that she had left Cartridge outside Homebase during a Monsters raid to save someone else. Clip admits her mistake and reconciles with Cartridge, who forgives her, and the Crew realizes that the cure to the spell is for everyone to reveal their secrets.
The Door To Darkness
- A haunted hotel is discovered in Hexsylvania, and during their exploration, Lok and Dennis encounter a ghost named Willow, who only they can see.
- The rest of the Crew is initially skeptical of their claim, dismissing it as a bluff, but Willow eventually reveals herself. She explains that she was trying to scare everyone away to protect them from the impending danger of the Door of Darkness opening soon.
- Dennis finds Willow's diary, where she reveals that her death was surprisingly ordinary, not the dramatic end one might expect from a ghost.
- Despite the risks, the Crew remains determined and assist Willow in preventing the Door of Darkness from opening.
Wolfy Business
- The Super Blood Wolf Moon emerges in Hexsylvania and Riggs turns out to be a werewolf. Ray and the Crew investigates a way to stop the coming werewolf gathering with the help from Dire.
Bladey Acres
- At Shady Acres, Raven, Ray, and the Commander investigate a series of axes thrown by Slashers. Raven believes these axes signal a plea for help from the Slashers, interpreting their actions as signs of distress and self-loathing. Ray, however, is dismissive of their emotions, though she reluctantly agrees that the axes might indicate someone in need of assistance.
- Penny finds a poem from Big Sid, a notorious slasher, which leads her to reinforce her cabin after Ray warns her that the poem isn't a metaphor.
- Raven suggests Ray understand the Slashers' pain by reading pages from their journals that he has scattered. Ray is confused but reads the pages which reveal the Slashers' painful backstories and grievances against campers. This leads to a discussion where Raven reveals his personal connection to the Slashers and his own troubled past:
Journal Pages Page 1 - "I never asked to carry this machete bag. I did not dream of becoming a camp maniac. I dreamed of seeing the world. And becoming a veterinarian. But the older kids tied me to the docks as a prank... and forgot I was there until well after the tide came in..."
Page 2 - "No one sets out to become a slasher. You just fall into it, thinking it will be a phase. When your friends are getting married, having kids of their own... you're being chained to the boiler and left to die by the campers of the Owl Troop."
Page 3 - "I was the caretaker of Camp Shady Acres for fifteen years. I poured my heart and soul into these campgrounds. But the campers could never see past my hook hand. Then came the summer Owl Troop lit my cabin on fire as I slept."
Ray grows frustrated and asks, "What is the Owl Troop's deal?" Raven replies, saying that campers are all terrible. Ray, softening after reading the journal pages, disagrees, saying, "They are not." Raven counters, explaining that the campers were sent to spend the summer in the spooky woods by parents who clearly didn't care much about keeping them safe.
Page 4 - "I long for the day I can once again raise my machete..."
Ray abruptly stops reading and refuses to continue. She glances at the page again and asks, "What's an abattoir?" Raven informs her that it's a slaughterhouse, to which Ray adds, "Someone went to Bloodhaven."
Ray asks Raven why he's so fond of "these creeps." Raven simply replies that they are his people. Ray then asks, "Aren't we your people?" Raven admits that Homebase fears him. Ray points out that it's because he makes "overlong eye contact and says things like, 'Soon...'", to which he then laughs maniacally.
Page 5 - "I was born under a bad sign in the light of a blood red moon."
Raven hesitantly stops Ray from reading, saying that it's his own journal entry. Ray continues, reading aloud, "I am a child of darkness and evil... But my fate is my own. I can change my path." Ray realizes why Raven wants to help the Slashers. Raven explains that the world has turned its back on his kind, adding, "You go on one rampage, and suddenly you're a monster." Ray agrees with the latter part, leading Raven to accuse her of being "antislashist." Ray confirms this, saying that slashing is "sad and gross and mean." She then admits that maybe they're wrong to give up on the Slashers.
- Ray announces a special camp for Slashers, urging them to behave and avoid attacking counselors. She emphasizes fun and preparation for an engaging camp experience.
- At the camp, Penny, Dennis, and Raven take turns telling spooky stories to the Slashers. Penny's attempts fail to impress, but Raven's stories resonate with the Slashers' experiences. Penny finally engages a Slasher with a relatable lunchroom story, showing a better understanding of their preferences.
- The Crew collects backpacks for hiking and host a canoe race. They then practice hatchet throwing on targets. The Crew then joins forces with the Slashers and takes down monsters with bladed weapons at the end of their camping trip.
Eye of the Brainstorm
- The Door to Darkness re-opens. The Crew helps Willow investigate and discover that Brainstorm is behind it. They take down Zombie Chickens that invaded the scene while taking turns and telling "spooky stories" to please Brainstorm. Dennis is rescued after he was lost and fell into a well with Takers.
- Brainstorm's plan is foiled when the Commander helps by battling the Door to Darkness. His brine is refreshed and he is reset back to "normal brain monster state".
Frozen Fjords[]
Holly Jolly Ransom
- Crackshot has been kidnapped! However, the ransom note is blown away by the wind, and Ray requests the 'kidnapper' to rewrite it, which angers him. He then orders the Crew: Ray, Dennis, Penny, Lok, and Lars to search for the scattered pieces of the ransom note. After piecing it together and reading it, the Crew discovers that Crackshot has staged his own fake kidnapping and was never truly abducted.
- Crackshot reveals that he has planted bombs beneath Homebase, threatening to detonate them unless the Crew helps him fulfill his holiday list of demands for the perfect Christmas. His first order is for them to eliminate Husks that are "mocking" the holiday season by wearing festive clothing.
- Next, Crackshot demands the best Christmas presents. The Crew gathers various items, but none of them meet his standards, so they end up giving the presents to Lok instead.
- Growing more frustrated, Crackshot demands "Santa's head." Confused, Ray devises a plan to make a paper-mache figure of Crackshot to show him the monster he’s become. The Crew then spreads holiday cheer by decorating trees around the area.
- Crackshot's final demand is to collect expired energy drinks to help him become a "large-hearted" holiday hero. The plan backfires, but he eventually has a moment of redemption, realizing the error of his ways. In the end, the Crew sets up speakers to spread holiday cheer throughout the zone.
Misfit Toys
- A survivor named Ted is on the run and is rescued by The Crew. Ted's creations, his monstrous toys, feel worthless and gross, and give their creator a "death" sentence. Sgt. Tank Gatling later helps prove Ted innocent. Apology tea parties are set up by Jilly Teacup as she realises her mistake. Ted is helped by Quinn to reclaim his creative spark and then showcases his newest creation, Monks.
Red Willow's Eve
- The Crew agrees with Red Willow and attempts to have a terrible Christmas celebration. Everyone gets a terrible present and reunites with the Misfit Toys. The season's "worst dinner party" is hosted, and Ted is helped to find inspiration to reboot his Morpho Gear Gang. Christmas candles are lit at the end and Willow realises her selfish mistake. Everyone ends up having a "normal" Christmas anyway, despite all the efforts.
