Guards[]
The Low Cards were hostile Guards in Fortnite: Battle Royale. They were introduced during Chapter 4: Season 4.
Description[]
They can be found in Eclipse controlled POIs and will shoot at the player if they notice them.
Once an Eclipse Named Location enters Lockdown multiple nearby Security Elevators will open up to send more Low Cards out to block a player's path.
Low Cards can be either male or female. This determines their appearance and voicelines.
Spawn Locations[]
- Chapter 4: Season 4: Eclipsed Estate, Sanguine Suites, Relentless Retreat, Rumble Ruins, MEGA City, Slappy Shores, Forecast Towers
Loot[]
Low Cards drop the following items when eliminated. They also drop a Healing Item and respective ammo with the weapon they drop:
Item | Icon | Rarity |
---|---|---|
Twin Mag Assault Rifle | Uncommon | |
Infiltrator Pump Shotgun | Uncommon | |
Scoped Burst SMG | Uncommon |
The Low Cards also wield an unobtainable Tactical Pistol in combat as a sidearm.
Trivia[]
- The Low Cards' Outfit IDs are Character_RhombGuard_NPC (Male) and Character_RhombPatrol_NPC (Female). Their Codename is Rhombguards.
- Like the Seven Sentries the Low Cards used the same model as the Chapter 3 Recruits, fitted with custom masks to signify their allegiance to Eclipse. The mask model itself originating from The Dealers with a texture very similar to the Commanding Card Style.
- They also have an unused Red style. It's purpose is unknown.
- The Low Cards are the first Guards:
- Since Chapter 2: Season 2 to audibly use Walkie Talkies when speaking their Idle voicelines.
- Additionally. if listened closely the Male and Female Low Cards can be heard through each other's Walkies within their Idle Lines. This detail is shared with The Dealers whom can also be heard receiving and transmitting to the Low Cards' Walkies when Idle.
- To have a Locker Icon on the same season as their introduction. Whether this indicates if they will ever come to the Item Shop is uncertain.
- To be eliminated instantly upon their health being drained, even when there are other Low Cards nearby.
- Since Chapter 2: Season 2 to audibly use Walkie Talkies when speaking their Idle voicelines.
- Like The Dealers their names are a reference to card games, referring to the lowest rank cards in poker and therefore their rank in Eclipse.
- This was also the case with the Highcards and Wild Card Suits.
- The Low Cards sometimes pop out of thin air when a Security Elevator opens as there is a small delay for when they spawn after the Elevator doors open.
