Madcap is an Epic Outfit in Fortnite, that can be purchased in the Item Shop for 
1,500 V-Bucks or with the Fungus King Bundle for 1,800 V-Bucks. Madcap was first released in Chapter 3: Season 1 and is part of the Fungus King Set.

Madcap received a higher-detailed style in Update v28.30, which replaced the original one. Since Update v28.20, players have had the option to choose between both.

- Madcap seems to have been in development as early as 2019.
- Madcap's CID was first leaked in a massive datamining of IDs for upcoming or scrapped cosmetics; which occured on September 4th 2019, during Season X.
- Madcap's CID was blacklisted between Outfits 609 and 611, located between Chapter 2: Season 1 Outfits.
- A silhouette of Madcap could have been seen near a bridge in Misty Meadows on mobile devices.
