- — In-Game Description
The Makeshift Revolver is a Pistol in Fortnite: Battle Royale. It was introduced in Chapter 2: Season 6.
Functionality
The Makeshift Revolver is a slow firing 6-round pistol with a high headshot multiplier. It has first shot accuracy, and uses Medium Bullets, so its range values and uses are comparable to an Assault Rifle, minus the fast firing. The revolver suffers at close ranges due to its slow fire rate and wide hip-fire spread. The weapon can function at long ranges, as it is hitscan.
Stats
Makeshift Revolvers range from dealing 45 Damage per shot to 50 Damage per shot (80.5 - 87.5 damage per second). All Makeshift Revolvers use Medium Bullets. The Makeshift Revolver has a headshot multiplier of 2x.

The Revolver is a Hitscan weapon. It does not have First Shot Accuracy enabled, and will always fire a random spread of bullets, which increases with continuous fire. This spread is decreased whilst crouching.

Strategy Guide
- The strength of a regular Revolver is that it has First Shot Accuracy and can be used to deal damage at longer ranges. Since the Makeshift Revolver lacks this function, it is ideal to upgrade it to a regular revolver.
- Although, the Makeshift Revolver has a slightly faster fire rate compared to the Normal Revolver, meaning that you trade in accuracy and get a faster fire rate in return when using this gun.
- This gun could be the second makeshift gun you could get away without upgrading, because of the higher fire rate and decent damage this can be just as much of a threat as a standard Revolver

Trivia
- This has a slightly faster fire rate than the regular Revolver, despite this weapon being a weaker version of the Revolver, but this could have been added in to make this less redundant compared to it’s standard and primal counterparts
