- Malik appeared in the cinematic trailer for Chapter 3 Season 3 as he was heading towards Rave Cave with Evie.
- Since Chapter 4 Season 2, Malik was used for testing special dialogue for characters. Since the test dialogues were not removed, they were able to be seen in-game when using his outfit when talking to certain characters.
- Malik has a female counterpart named Jaina.
