The Mechanical Bow is a Bow in Fortnite: Battle Royale. It was introduced in Chapter 2: Season 6.
Functionality[]
The Mechanical Bow uses a targeting system to fire projectiles, which need to be charged up to go the optimal distance. The damage is the same regardless of charge. The projectile launched is a very fast arrow. The mechanical bow does more damage than it's Primal counterpart, however, it has a slower reload time.

The Mechanical Bow uses a Fast Moving Projectile. It has a targeting system which shows the player the drop of the projectile, and where it will land. There is no damage falloff on the Mechanical Bow's projectiles.

The Mechanical Bow was crafted using a Makeshift Bow and 4 Mechanical Parts. The weapon could have been used to create a:
- Mechanical Shockwave Bow with 2 Shockwave Grenades.
- Mechanical Explosive Bow with 6 Grenades.
Strategy Guide[]
- The Mechanical Bow deals more damage than its Primal counterpart, but its reload is slightly slower.
- This gives a weaker DPS, but if you are careful with your shots, they can deal more damage to opponents in large bursts.

- Update v16.00: The Mechanical Bow is introduced in Rare rarity. It is part of the new craftable weapons system.

- Update v17.00: Vaulted the Mechanical Bow.
Chapter 4: Season 1[]
- Update v23.00: Decreased damage from 85 to 75. The weapon is still vaulted.
Trivia[]
- The Mechanical Bow uses a similar model to the Boom Bow, as both are Mechanical Bows with gray coloration, the difference being the arrow design.
