The Mechanical Explosive Bow is a Bow in Fortnite: Battle Royale. It was introduced in Chapter 2: Season 6. The Mythic version of this weapon is Raz's Explosive Bow.
Functionality[]
The Mechanical Explosive Bow functions like all other bows, with targeting system showing where the arrows will land. When fully charged, the projectile of this bow will spawn three grenades which detonate quickly and deal a small amount of damage.

The Mechanical Explosive Bow uses 
Arrows and has a headshot multiplier of 2.5x. Each of the three Grenades deal 20 Damage.

The Mechanical Explosive Bow uses a Fast Moving Projectile. It has a targeting system which shows the player the drop of the projectile, and where it will land. There is no damage falloff on the Mechanical Explosive Bow's projectiles.
The Mechanical Explosive Bow can be reloaded whilst aiming.

- The Mechanical Explosive Bow is ideal for dealing damage to closely grouped opponents, especially when they are trying to revive their teammates.
- The Mechanical Explosive Bow is very effective at forcing opponents out from behind cover because of the explosive damage from the grenades.
Counters[]
- When engaged with an opponent wielding a Mechanical Explosive Bow, keep the engagement within close range, as it will force the opponent to risk taking explosive damage from their own shots should they choose to return fire, which is especially risky as they will take twice the damage you would from the grenades, since they fired the arrow.

- Update v17.00: Vaulted the Mechanical Explosive Bow in both rarities.
Chapter 3: Season 1[]
- Content Update v19.30: Both rarities of the Mechanical Explosive Bow have been unvaulted for the Bownanza Wild Week.

Trivia[]
- The Mechanical Explosive Bow is very similar to the Boom Bow. However, the Boom Bow arrows explode immediately, and do not drop multiple projectiles.
- The Mechanical Explosive Bow was crafted using 6 Grenades and a Rare Mechanical Bow. This would create an Epic Mechanical Explosive Bow.
- The Grenades from The Mechanical Explosive Bow will deal twice the damage to the player who fired them.
