The Mechanical Shockwave Bow is a Bow in Fortnite: Battle Royale, that was introduced in Chapter 2: Season 6.
Functionality[]
The Mechanical Shockwave Bow functions like all other bows, with targeting system showing where the arrows will land. When fully charged, the projectile of this bow will create a small shockwave effect, launching whoever it hits in the opposite direction from the arrow. There is a small radius where this will also apply, even if no target is hit directly.
The Mechanical Shockwave Bow uses a Fast Moving Projectile. It has a targeting system which shows the player the drop of the projectile, and where it will land. There is no damage falloff on the Mechanical Shockwave Bow's projectiles.
The Mechanical Shockwave Bow can be reloaded whilst aiming.

- Like all Shockwave based items, it can be used to launch opponents into The Storm. This is especially useful during the end of the game, where the storm damage is very high.
- The Mechanical Shockwave Bow can be used to quickly traverse terrain, but its strength is less than that of a Shockwave Grenade, due to the much higher carry capacity for
Arrows. - While difficult to pull off, this weapon is a combo generator and a trick-shot generator. Pair this with a sniper rifle of some sort, and this weapon can easily form two-hit combos.

- Carry some form of mobility when engaged with an opponent wielding a Mechanical Shockwave Bow, to help pursue them in the event they use its Shockwave effect to retreat from the engagement.

- Like Shockwave Grenade's, the tips of the arrows for this weapon appear to use Hop Rocks in them. This provides the anti-gravity effect.
- The Mechanical Shockwave Bow was crafted using 2 Shockwave Grenades and a Rare Mechanical Bow. This would create an Epic Mechanical Shockwave Bow.
