- — Medusa
Medusa is a mortal-turned-Gorgon, seeking revenge on the Gods for wrongly attempting to kill her.[4] She reveals that the myths told about her were all lies and that Perseus is her friend, not enemy.[2]
She is a supporting character in Fortnite: Battle Royale, serving as a supporting protagonist in Chapter 5: Season 2.
Personality[]
Medusa is broken by what the Gods have taken from her, and now seeks revenge from all of them.[5] She has a hard time trusting Gods that try to help her with her cause.[6] She has embraced her Gorgon curse and calls it a "gift" that allows her to stand against the Gods.[7]

Timeline[]
Before Chapter 5[]
Long ago, Medusa tried to stand up against the Gods but ended up getting cursed by them, turning into a Gorgon.[2] All she had, including her "trinkets",[10] were taken from her and Perseus was sent to slay her. Instead, they became friends and Perseus saved her life in an unknown situation.[2] The Gods then spread myths[11] of Medusa dying in the hands of Perseus.[2] She then seeks vengeance to end The Pantheon and the Gods’ rule.[4]
Chapter 5: Season 2[]
Following the Gods' arrival on Helios, Medusa followed them. Towards the end of the season, Medusa contacted The Looper to take down Zeus once and for all, destroying hourglasses that weakened The King and destroyed his sources of immortality, alongside recovering some artifacts thanks also to the help of The Oracle, Vengeance Jones and Hope. This opened the way for both the gods, The Looper and The Underground to stand against Zeus and his allies, ultimately dethroning the god for good.
Chapter 5: Season 3[]
After the defeat of Zeus and the arrival of Megalo Don, all the characters belonging to the previous season (except Apollo, Artemis and Cerberus) fled the island, however the fate of Medusa is unknown, however Persephone is glad to know she succeeded in being responsible for the dethronement of Zeus.
