800 V-Bucks. Mel was first released in Chapter 3: Season 1 and is part of the Backbeat Set.

Why are there two different numbers for Mel's appearances? Mel has, on at least one occasion, appeared in more than one shop in a single day. This has resulted in its count for appearances in the Item Shop being higher than the amount of days it has appeared in it. Both counts are listed by the Fortnite Wiki in order to be as accurate as possible, unlike other sources. |

- Mel's existence was first discovered through the data-mined cosmetic ID dump from August 19th 2021 - during Chapter 2: Season 7, 118 days before being fully implemented into the in-game files. Precisely: 3 months and 26 days.
- Although Mel's ID shares the same CID codename as Sash Sergeant, they do not visually match each other.
