As I'm sure you're aware, your community has been testing the new Community Feed for several weeks now, but it has only been available on mobile devices. We're getting ready to launch the new feature for desktop users as well next week, and as part of it we'd like to make a quick change to your wiki's background so it's more compatible with the new feature.
Specifically, we'd like to swap the background image for one that looks exactly the same, but has a higher resolution, so it'll look crisper on big screens. To match it, we'd like to adjust the wiki's background color by just a few degrees - it should barely be noticeable.
We'll need to do this tomorrow at the latest. Let me know if you have any questions about that!
I'm so sorry, I mentioned the Fortnite wiki in the off topic thread of the Elder Scrolls wiki. Elite Daedra came over here and vandalized the discussions. I told him not to do anything bad because we've been dealing with it a lot here lately. I'm sorry. I know that this could affect my chances at becoming an admin, but I hope that I will be able to make up for it in the future.
Can you explain to me the exact requirements to become a moderator on this wiki? I would like to be able to delete off topic posts to make the Fandom look better. If edits are required I'll work on that.
Hi, thanks for your interest! So we don't actually have a set guideline here (as you may have noticed, none us are as active as it could be) but it definitely helps if you make useful edits and help revert any vandalism, spam, etc. and if you have experience on other wikis even better. Also, you'd need to bring it up with the beaucrat here to become an admin.
However, if you're just wanting to be a discussions moderator I can definitely help you with that :)
Thanks, taken care of. Also, next time, please refrain from leaving comments on pages like harming themselves. Despite it being an obvious vandal, it goes again Wikia's ToS and you don't want them coming down on you for that because of a vandal :)
Hi, I meant to message you about that, sorry. For skins where static images will suffice, videos aren't really needed, especially as they're more on showing various emotes than just a quick turntable view of the skin. You can, however, add videos for emotes to better show those.
