Mount F8 is a Landmark in Fortnite Battle Royale added in Chapter 2: Season 1 to the island Apollo. It is a large, snowy mountain, and as its name states, it is located at Coordinate F8, South of Misty Meadows. Part of it had been broken off by Alien debris following the events of Operation: Sky Fire.

History[]

Update v17.00[]

Update v18.00[]

  • Following the events of Operation: Sky Fire, parts of an Abductor and likely pieces of The Mothership have crashed through the edge of the mountain, as well as littered the area around it, turning some of the landscape orange with its energies.

The End[]

  • During the events of The End, two Abductors were left behind after the portal to The Sideways was closed due to The Cube Queen's explosion. As Apollo underwent a 90-degree tilt and began to flip over, the Abductors crashed into the southeastern part of the map. The lowest Abductor directly crashed into the peak of Mount F8 and was further destroyed as it fell through its slope. It has now disappeared from the map following the Event, as Apollo had flipped around completely.
