Music Pass

The Music Pass (Formerly Festival Pass) is a seasonal cosmetic item bundle in Fortnite Festival, which grants the player rewards in exchange for XP (Formerly Festival Points).

Unlike the Battle Pass, Music Pass items are not exclusive to the season in which they are offered and are likely going to be added to the item shop sometime after the season ends. However, players are unable to access Music Passes from past seasons.

Currently, the Music Pass consists of two tracks. A paid premium track, which includes 11 rewards alongside a bonus cosmetic included with the purchase of the track, and a free track, which is accessible to all players.

Trivia

• The Music Pass uses the same layout as some event quests introduced in Find the Force.
• The Microphone is the only instrument type that has not yet been featured as one of the last 3 rewards in any free or paid tier Festival Pass track.
  • It's also the only one to not be the final reward of a free or paid Festival Pass track.
• Prior to Season 6, the Music Pass was called the Festival Pass.
  • At the time, the paid track cost 1,800 V-Bucks, this was lowered to 1,400 V-Bucks.
  • Each reward tier cost 1,000 Festival Points, up to 11,000 Festival Points total.
    • This was replaced with each reward tier requiring 160,000 XP, up to 1,760,000 XP total.
  • The Festival Pass was only listed when Fortnite Festival was selected as a game mode, however with Update v32.00 this changed so that the Music Pass would appear regardless of what mode was selected.
• Future Music Passes will have a single reward track with both free and paid rewards, similar to the Battle Pass.
• Starting on December 1st 2024, the Music Pass will be included as part of Fortnite Crew. Access to the Premium reward track will only be available while a subscription is active.
