Mythic Goldfish is a Mythic Utility Item in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was added in Chapter 2: Season 1.
Functionality[]
The Mythic Goldfish is a throwable item which can be picked up after use, even if it hits an opponent or structure. It deals a high amount of damage, enough to instantly eliminate a player with full health in standard playlists.

- The Mythic Goldfish deals very high structure damage, so if a player is hiding behind one, it can be thrown at the structure. You can then quickly switch to another weapon to eliminate the player before they have time to rebuild.
- Due to it being a projectile, try to lead your shot while aiming to increase your chance of hitting your target.

- The Mythic Goldfish was the first Mythic item introduced in Chapter 2.
- The Mythic Goldfish takes the form of golden Flopper on a podium, like a golden trophy.
- Prior to the Mythic Goldfish being Vaulted and the removal of Legacy in Update v26.30, It was tied to three separate Legacy achievements. The first one was gained by catching one for the first time during that season, while the other two were gained by eliminating another player with it, and being eliminated by one respectively.
- Catching a Mythic Goldfish between the 22nd and the 24th of November 2019 would net the player the Bottom Feeder Pickaxe as a reward for participating in the Fishing Frenzy Competition.
- If a player obtained a Mythic Goldfish in Grefg's Floor is Lava, it would switch their current Outfit, Back Bling, and Pickaxe to the respective cosmetics from TheGrefg Set.
- Prior to Update v15.50, players could glitch outside of their own Creative islands and obtain the Mythic Goldfish from fishing. If then brought back to their islands, the item could then be placed inside of devices on players' islands and saved.
- The Mythic Goldfish is the first Mythic to be obtainable from Llamas.
