Paint Launchers are a type of Explosive Weapon in Fortnite: Battle Royale that come in Orange, Purple and Cinematic variants. They are exclusive to Party Royale and Fortnite: Creative.

Functionality[]

Paint Launcher[]

Paint Launchers shoot out vials of Orange or Purple Paint, or eggs with Cinematic Paint, depending on the weapon, which explodes into its respective color upon impact with a surface. If its projectile hits a player, it will briefly color them the color of the respective weapon.

Cinematic Paint Launcher[]

Cinematic Paint Launchers was introduced exclusively for the Soundwave Series - Tones And I LTM. It shoot out the current cinematic video that is playing on the Llama-tron device.

Obtained[]

Orange and Purple Paint Launchers can be found in Vending Machines across the Party Royale island.

The Cinematic Paint Launcher is only available to developers and Epic Games’ partners and is therefore only accessible during Events.

Stats[]

Paint Launchers use Energy Cells and do not deal damage to players/structures. They are not capable of inflicting headshots to players. The Creative Mode version has 36 ammo while the Party Royale version has only 6 ammo.

The Paint Launcher actually does a very low 0.000625 damage per shot, Which means it takes 1,600 shots to deal 1 damage.^[1]
