Pay Phones are interactable object in Fortnite: Battle Royale. They were introduced in Chapter 2: Season 7.
Functionality[]
Chapter 4: Season 2[]
- Blue Pay Phones around Asteria have a rare chance of becoming interactable, hinted by it suddenly ringing. It will display a strange message when answered before hanging up, leaving it un-interactable upon exiting the conversation.
Chapter 4: Season 1[]
- Referred as Burner Pay Phones, during the duration of Most Wanted they can be found in various locations and will offer to increase the player's Heat Level by 1 for 500 Bars.
Chapter 2: Season 7[]
- Found at various bus stops. Orange Pay Phones will offer 4 random Character Quests to complete, serving as an alternative to getting quests without having to find a Character to accept from. Interacting with a pay phone is identical to a Character, in that a menu appears offering services in exchange for Bars.

Trivia[]
- Doctor Slone used the Pay Phones as a way to interact with The Looper, and inform them about their missions.
- This is likely the reason behind their re-introduction in Chapter 4: Season 2, as a way of teasing her return.
- It was possible to get quests from Beach Brutus, despite him being removed as a Character.
- It was possible to get quests from Beast Boy, Armored Batman Zero and Clark Kent before they were added as Characters.
