- Peelverine is a remake of Peely.
- Peelverine is based on the Marvel superhero Wolverine.
- Peelverine's X-Force Peelverine style is based off Wolverine's suit from Marvel's X-Force Comic Series.
- Peelverine's Classic Peelverine style is based off Wolverine's suit from Marvel's Uncanny X-Men Comic Series.
- Peelverine is notably one of the few Peely based outfits that do not feature his "head" slightly opened on either side, preceding outfits with the same notability include, Peelosopher Bananocrates, Unpeely, & P-1000
- Peelverine is currently the only Peely based outfit that has a completely closed head, which could potentially be indirectly referencing to Wolverine's healing factor.
- On August 10 2024, an event for D23 live stream would give everyone that visit their island for 10 minutes would get a back bling of said character (plush) by August 16.
- In the Chapter 2: Season 4 cinematic trailer, Peely mimics Wolverine by replicating his Adamantium Claws. This would then culminate in the creation of the Nanamantium Claws and the idea of a fusion between Peely and Wolverine.
- Although the Nanamantium Claws Pickaxe was originally planned for Chapter 2: Season 4, it was scrapped and was later reused as part of the Chapter 5: Season 4 Battle Pass.
- Peelverine was teased in Chapter 5: Season 3, where a banana peel can be found in the Weapon X Lab.
