This article is about a location that has been removed from the map.Pressure Plant was a Named Location in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was added in Update v9.00. It is located on the east of Lazy Lagoon and the southwest of Sunny Steps.
Overview[]
Pressure Plant is a Government factory, built over the dormant Volcano. It was the build site of The Mecha and where it launched to fight against The Devourer. The elevator was then closed and Pressure Plant was presumably abandoned.
History[]
Season 9[]
- Update v9.00: Pressure Plant has been added.
- Update v9.30:
- 6/25/2019: Pressure Plant has been upgraded. A giant elevator appeared in the middle.
- 7/2/2019: A robot has began construction at the Pressure Plant. The feet and one part of it's right leg were built.
- 7/4/2019: Construction of a robot continues. Second part of its right leg and first part of its left leg were built.
- 7/6/2019: Construction of a robot continues. Second part of its left leg were built. Propaganda and warning posters have appeared in Pressure Plant.
- 7/8/2019: Construction of the robot continues. It's torso is now fully built.
- 7/10/2019: The robot construction has continued. The left bicep has been built.
- 7/12/2019: The robot's full right arm has been completely built.
- 7/13/2019: A 7-day countdown timer has appeared above the Sky Platform near the Pressure Plant.
- 7/14/2019: The robot's left arm construction has been complete, and a jetpack was built on it's back.
- Update v9.40
- 7/17/2019: The construction of the Mecha has been finished. Each part of the robot symbolizes different styles of its pilot Singularity.
Season X[]
- Update v10.00: Pressure Plant seemed to have become abandoned following The Final Showdown Event. The propaganda and warning posters have been removed and all of the volcano vents have stopped working.
