- — In-Game Description
The Pulse Rifle is an Assault Weapon in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was added in Chapter 2: Season 7.
The Pulse Rifle has two Mythic versions called Slone's Pulse Rifle and the Overclocked Pulse Rifle.
The Pulse Rifle has an Exotic version called Burst Pulse Rifle.

The Pulse Rifle behaves identically to the Stark Industries Energy Rifle, in that it fires faster and deals less damage at the hip than when aimed. When aimed, the Pulse Rifle's First Shot Accuracy resets quicker than its Fire Rate, giving all shots First Shot Accuracy. The Pulse rifle deals increased damage when whilst aimed, but only to opponents and not against structures.
The Pulse Rifle is a hitscan weapon, with First Shot Accuracy enabled.
Stats[]

Strategy Guide[]
|
This section outlines a strategy. |
| Feel free to add tips, tricks and general advice about the topic. |
- When attacking a target at close range, it is ideal to hip fire the weapon, as the higher DPS will aid you in eliminating your target faster. The same is especially true for attacking enemy structures, as the ADS damage increase does not affect structures.
- The Pulse Rifle is best treated as a DMR at mid-range, as the extra damage it gains when ADS allows for very high headshot damage, and the fire rate is very slow when aiming, so keeping distance and picking off opponents at range is best with this weapon.
- The Pulse Rifle, due to it's infinite first shot accuracy when ADS, is best suited for longer range engagements.
- Also keep in mind that the Pulse Rifle's damage increases from 36 to 54 when ADS.
- When in close range, hipfire to take advantage of the higher fire rate.
- Headshots are very rewarding with the Pulse Rifle, especially when ADS, as it goes from 54 damage to 81. Careful shots and accuracy can be devastating.
Counters[]
- The Pulse Rifle can easily be outperformed at close range by a dedicated close-range weapon, such as an SMG. Keep this in mind when engaging an opponent wielding it.
- Speaking of which, it is advised to stay within close range when engaged with an opponent wielding a Pulse Rifle, as at mid-long range, the extra damage the Pulse Rifle gains when ADS can put your opponent at an advantage.
- When ADS, the Pulse Rifle has a slower fire rate of 2.1. Take advantage of this by using a scoped or red dot weapon with a higher fire rate at longer ranges.
- At close range, the Pulse Rifle is mediocre, due to a low DPS. Take advantage by using a weapon more suited for close range engagements, such as an SMG.
Weapon ID[]
The Pulse Rifle is referred to as Assault Pasta Ripper in the files.

Trivia[]
- The reason this weapon exists as it does is likely due to licensing issues with Marvel. As the Stark Industries Energy Rifle cannot return, a generic version the weapon, being this one, was brought in.
- This is even more evident after Update v17.30, where the Pulse Rifle now deals extra damage when aimed down sights, which is the same feature used by the Stark Industries Energy Rifle.
- In Chapter 2: Season 7, The Pulse Rifle was obtained by:
- Crafting an Assault Rifle or Heavy Assault Rifle with 1 Alien Nanites (Rare to Legendary only).
- Crafting a Suppressed Assault Rifle with 1 Alien Nanites.
