The Pulse Scanner is an Utility Item in Fortnite: Battle Royale, that was introduced in Chapter 6: Season 2.

Functionality[]

Once thrown the Pulse Scanner will go off every 25 seconds, scanning all enemies and containers within its radius. The Pulse Scanner loses a large amount of Health after every scan and will only be able to scan 3 times before being destroyed. It also slowly loses its Health over time until it reaches 0, where it will then be destroyed.

Additionally, the Pulse Scanner will be marked for opponents that were successfully scanned by it.

Only one Pulse Scanner can be active per player.
