Rainbow Ink is a resource in Fortnite: Battle Royale. It was introduced in Chapter 2: Season 8, and works similar to Alien Artifacts from the previous season.
Usage[]
Rainbow Ink, although a physical resource in game, is only used outside matches. Rainbow ink is used to purchase different Styles for the customizable skin Toona Fish, as well as customizable colors his cosmetic set. Players can purchase styles in increments of 10 or 15. 525 Ink is required to purchase every item, but Rainbow Ink will still be obtainable after the player has purchased everything. Players cannot purchase a style if they do not have the corresponding Color Bottles or completed the corresponding Challenge first.
Obtained[]
Rainbow Ink is obtained by opening Chests, such as Normal Chests, Rare Chests and Cosmic Chests, the latter rewarding the player by its built in rewards, rather than as drops.
